Story
Vienna is a 9-year-old Basset Hound/Australian cattle dog mix (according to her adoption papers). Her forever owner recently passed and she needs a new human to love. She is the sweetest cuddle bug. Her idea of a great day is to hang out with her favorite person as they work, play, watch tv or whatever. Her idea of a reward is copious amounts of belly rubs. She’ll show you she’s working really hard to earn those belly rubs by sitting on her bottom and vigorously wagging her tail. If Vienna had it her way her human would never leave her at home alone. When her human friends have been out of the house she gets very excited and jumpy but she wants you to know that she’s trying her best to be a good girl and remember to sit down to get those belly rubs. She walks politely on a leash and is a good jogging companion and is happy to run 2 miles runs or happy with a shorter walk.

Good dog adopted from pound needs a new loving home,a little fearful, but kind and gentle. Owner has had some health issues and can no longer care for him. God willing we can find a place for him instead of the pound where his life may be at risk. God bless.

Story
Ziggy is a sweetheart! He loves people and playing with other dogs at the dog park. He's got puppy energy but will also be cuddly and calm when the people around him are settled. He loves to sit where he can look out the window, and gently huff at people walking by. He is still in the chewing-on-things phase of puppyhood but is quickly learning which things are allowed to be chewed and which are not. He does best with at least 2 walks a day, and/or time outside in a fenced yard or dog park to get his zoomies on. He is house-trained and crate-trained and does well in his crate when left alone. We think he would thrive in a home with other dogs, children, or both! He loves company and making friends. He's just the BEST boy and a perfect companion.

Story
Hi! My name is Audio but for some reason, my foster mom always pronounces it "No! Audio. I'm a 6-month-old puppy whose tail never stops wagging- even if I'm standing next to mom's shelves and it's knocking everything over with the wag. Mom says I have the face of a beagle, on the body of a baby cow, with the agility of a drunk cat, the energy of a bunny on speed, and the attention span of a flea. But my brother's DNA test said we're beagle, chihuahua, and rat terrier mixes. I was adopted out of freedom ride as an 8-week-old puppy and due to a major life change, my first family had to return me to the rescue. While they loved me very much and took great care of me, we didn't do a lot of training, so I'm still learning puppy skills like potty training. I'm also learning what I can and cannot get on top of.. mom actually calls me "Down! Audio too. Normally it's when I'm scaling the counter or sunbathing on the kitchen table. I don't know why she always yells- it's the best vantage point in the house to patrol for squirrels and I always let everyone know when I've spotted one! I absolutely love to run and play- I'd love a doggy sibling or an active family that would play with me. The two dogs in my foster home are much bigger than me, but they're my best friends! Sometimes they correct me when I'm being extra. I also love playing fetch and going for long walks/hikes with mom. A fenced-in yard would be best for me too. My beagle nose is good for more than just casual booping.. you know, I do all the backyard sniffing while everyone just lays around watching. I'd do best in a home that is excited about continued training and socializing for me- manners are new to me, so sometimes I forget them, but it's always because I'm really really happy. Mom says she can't stay mad at me because I'm so sweet and excited for everything. I'd also love if my people were home most of the day- I crate well and have no issues when mom leaves for a few hours, but I'm definitely happiest by your side. So if you're an active family looking for a playmate for their dog, who doesn't mind the challenge- errr- "opportunity of a 6 month old chaotic lover beagle mix, please oh please apply to meet me! I'm already excited about it. And damnit now I excited peed and mom is yelling again. Gotta go!!!
