Meet Angel, PK’s resident short king! Angel was transferred to PK from another rescue after being surrendered because his owner went into a nursing home. We think Angel is a Bassett Hound and terrier mix. He is 7 years old and weighs 35 lbs. Although middle-aged, Angel has lots of energy! This lowrider loves going on walks and running around the play yard. He is very friendly and all smiles when you offer to take him out for a walk. Angel is selective about his canine friends and would probably do best as an only dog (this is how he lived his whole life so far). He can be kitty-tested upon request. Polo is ready to play! A 4 ½ month old Basset Hound/Dachshund mix, he paints a handsome picture in his medium length white and brown coat. His puppy pounds come to only 20, but he'll mature to about 35 big boy pounds. Although he can occasionally be a bit shy, Polo's playful sweetness quickly comes alive when a romp around the play yard is called for! A delightful boy with a great personality! Rescued from a hoarder, Dumbo, a Basset Hound mix, is a real sweetheart with a wonderful personality. He's 2 years old, weighs 32 pounds, and came to us with a cherry eye which we promptly removed. Although his previous living conditions may not have been the greatest, and may have led to his shyness, overall, this boy's love of life is undeniable. He loves to run around the play yard either alone or with one of his canine pals, and there's an aura of gentleness that surrounds him. A sweet, sweet boy, he would be great to have in your family.
