Story
My step daughter adopted her as a puppy, but she has gone to college and I can't afford to keep her. She's good with cats, chickens, older kids, she should be watched with younger children, although had lived with them. She can be protective of the house and her people. She's been around livestock, she shows quite a bit of interest, but could be trained to ignore them I believe. She would do great in a farm type situation, especially where she could be a guardian. She can be bossy, and would do best with someone who understand bully and guarding breeds. She can be on the fence about other dogs. She's always lived with them, but introducing them can be tricky. She is highly trainable, is very affectionate, loves to cuddle and be next to you, bonds tightly with her people, and she has some anxiety that needs to worked on.

Story
This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 5-6 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. Maxine was the oldest girl that came from the house, we think she is around 6-7, she was a little shy, but seems to be taking things in her stride and has settles into her foster home without skipping a beat, we think she’s happy to be out of there. As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. TRAMP is a sweet boy, he has good energy, plays well with other dogs. His human let him down, he is in a kill shelter at no fault of his! He is now looking for someone the will save him, give him all the attention and love he deserves. He has a lot to offer.
