Story
Hi, everyone. My name is stella mccartney and I am a dairy special Bassett Hound mix puppy that was born the middle of October to a pure bred Bassett Hound mom.  Me and my siblings were born in the woods where the man who owned my mom was living in a tent and down on his luck. He contacted a foster of Critter Cavalry Rescue, and she came to pick us up a few weeks ago and help us get our shots and worming and our spays and neuters done.  I am living in a terrific foster home that is allowing me to run and play in the yard and in the house, and to also be mentored by their adult dogs who are showing me the ropes.  My foster mom laughs at me because she says I am fearless.  It seems that one of the adult dogs really doesn't like me and my sister very much because of our puppy energy, but I still persevere trying to get him to like me. My foster mom says I don't take no for an answer.  I am a happy girl and very excited about meeting a new family soon.   We are going to have so much fun running in the backyard and letting me.Sniff and play and explore and cuddle. I can do all of those things really well and I promise to make some family's life extremely happy.  Please read up on the bassett, hound traits, and be sure that you can give me the best life ever.  Write to Ccrnewengland@gmail.com  asap.   I'm in Nashville, TN,  but can transport up right away to the northeast.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 9, 2025, 5:29 pm

Story
My name is Joni Mitchell, and I am a pretty little Bassett Hound mix puppy. That was born the middle of October to a pure bred Bassett Mama. The owner of our mom is homeless in living in a tent outside and a few weeks ago, he decided he needed to find a rescue to help me and my siblings find homes and get out of the cold and living in a tent in the woods.  It was the most loving thing he could have done for us.  My foster mom is so good to me and I followed her everywhere. She has taught me about crate training, and I am already housebroken.  I love to play with the other dogs. And I am trying to learn not to be afraid of the man who has called her husband at my foster home.  I just feel easier around girls.  On New Year's Eve, the teenage girls that live at the foster home had their friend's over and I had so much fun being loved on by all of them period I really do like people.  I'm a little hesitant with men, but I'm really working hard to get over it. I am pretty late back and I know that I probably could give you the best cuddles and snuggles this winter.  I would be a forty pound Bassett looking girl when I grow up period right now, I weigh eleven pounds.  I'm ready for adoption right now. And I can write up on the transport van from nashville, tennessee, 21 of six transport stops along our route through the northeastern states. If you are interested, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 11, 2025, 10:24 pm

Story
Stumpy-Bassett Hound/Labrador Retriever (Bassador) male, ~ 1-2 yr. (March 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application to adopt. Stumpy is living in a very rural area with a family that asked for help in finding him a new home. He's used to living a family life with children and loves the children. He would be best as an only dog. He's a mixed dog but a popular mix, called a Bassador. The Bassador temperament can vary a lot depending on whether they take after their Lab or Basset Hound parent more. Generally, they are sociable and loving. We are fortunate to know how Stumpy has done, living with a family. Bassadors love attention, especially from their favorite person. If you want a dog with a very unique look who’s loyal to a fault, the Bassador could be the dog for you! Stumpy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.
