Stumpy-Bassett Hound/Labrador Retriever (Bassador) male, ~ 1-2 yr. (March 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application to adopt. Stumpy is living in a very rural area with a family that asked for help in finding him a new home. He's used to living a family life with children and loves the children. He would be best as an only dog. He's a mixed dog but a popular mix, called a Bassador. The Bassador temperament can vary a lot depending on whether they take after their Lab or Basset Hound parent more. Generally, they are sociable and loving. We are fortunate to know how Stumpy has done, living with a family. Bassadors love attention, especially from their favorite person. If you want a dog with a very unique look who’s loyal to a fault, the Bassador could be the dog for you! Stumpy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. What a delightful litter! Their names are Kiwi, Kane, Kira, King and Knox. 3 ½ month old Basset mix puppies, these babies are especially great to watch as they play in their pool. They're good with other dogs in addition to their siblings. They're also very affection and love to be loved. They presently weigh 10 pounds and will grow to between 35 and 40 pounds. What personalities! What puppies! What a life you could with one, or more!!!! (posted 4/25/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. Amber will melt your heart and add endless laughter and joy to your home! She came to Fancy Cats with a group of her siblings. She is an active puppy who loves playing with toys, running around with the resident dogs, and getting cuddles. With some hound in her background, she especially enjoys spending time in the yard sniffing everything she can find.When she's indoors, Amber likes to play with a variety of toys. She is teething but can be easily redirected if she starts chewing something that she shouldn't. As a typical puppy, she also enjoys napping between her zoomies.Amber does well with the two resident adult dogs and two cats in the home. As a puppy, consistent socialization and training will be key to set her up for success.  She is crate trained and housed trained.  Amber is ready to go to her forever home! She is a goofy sweetheart who will reward you with lots of love and puppy kisses.
