Story
Makana is about 8 years old. Full of energy, loves food and treats, loves walks. Rehoming due to owner losing full vision and care for Makana has become difficult. Got Makana when she was a puppy. She is used to being home alone if needed, and used to having a backyard to roam. She has been with another small dog her entire time in our home. She needs a home with someone who has time to walk her, play & tend to her needs. She does great at Dog Parks, and in the Car, she is used to sleeping on a Dog bed through the day and is NOT crate trained. Makana will need to be updated on shots. She has been around 2 Toddlers in our home since they were born. She hasn’t shown aggression toward them. She could use a little better manners around receiving treats and food as she likes to go for food quickly. She’d also pair well with someone or a family who has an active lifestyle. She currently is trained to use the bathroom outside before bed time and out again before work. Thanks for reading.

This young pup was found wandering all by herself. Like the brand "Little Debbie," she is just so sweet. Because she was a stray, we don't know exact breed or birthday. Based on her looks (long body, short legs, floppy ears), we are guessing she could have some Beagle/Dachshund in her mix, but heavy emphasis on the guess. We think she's also around 2-3 months old, since she has all her baby teeth. Nonetheless, she's a darling girl that looks like she's been plucked right from a commercial. She is absolutely adorable - even more in person! We've given her her first shots, and after her stray hold is up, she will be microchipped and spayed on 11/10. This gives an owner a chance to claim her. If no owner comes forward, she will need a home to call hers, where she can be spoiled and loved. Her new owner should look forward to all that puppy stuff - training, socialization, and nurturing her. $350 adoption fee covers spay, first vaccine, and microchip.
