Story
Harriet is the best of the best. You’ll know it when you meet her: she gives undivided, unconditional love. She loves to be touched, she loves walking and she loves just because that’s who she is. She’s an old girl so she has arthritic joints, and needs some nice soft beds and pillows to hang out on.

Story
Makana is about 8 years old. Full of energy, loves food and treats, loves walks. Rehoming due to owner losing full vision and care for Makana has become difficult. Got Makana when she was a puppy. She is used to being home alone if needed, and used to having a backyard to roam. She has been with another small dog her entire time in our home. She needs a home with someone who has time to walk her, play & tend to her needs. She does great at Dog Parks, and in the Car, she is used to sleeping on a Dog bed through the day and is NOT crate trained. Makana will need to be updated on shots. She has been around 2 Toddlers in our home since they were born. She hasn’t shown aggression toward them. She could use a little better manners around receiving treats and food as she likes to go for food quickly. She’d also pair well with someone or a family who has an active lifestyle. She currently is trained to use the bathroom outside before bed time and out again before work. Thanks for reading.

Story
Copper is a 1-year-old Beagle mix with an extraordinary spirit and a story of true resilience. After battling and beating the severe distemper virus during months in the hospital, his gentle little body fought hard—and won. Copper is a special-needs pup who continues to experience tremors and requires assistance with eating, but his sweetness and determination never fade. He will thrive in a calm, stay-at-home environment with someone who can offer consistent support, patience, and love. Copper is a tender, soulful companion who deserves a family ready to give him the long, happy life he fought so hard for.

Story
BEST WAY TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS PUP EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG MARIGOLD came into the shelter as a stray on 7/10/26 WITH OTHER dogs - several of whom were puppies of varying ages - after being found eating trash near a dumpster at the Home Depot parking lot. The person who found them took them home for a day before bringing them to the shelter. MARIGOLD was terrified by the shelter intake process and was placed in isolation kennels due to alligator rolling and needing to DECOMPRESS. She is staying as far away from staff as she can and is ACTIVELY TREMBLING. The staff want her out so she can recover. She is, no doubt, under extreme mental distress at the shelter. PLEASE HELP HER The finder was able to pick her up and put her in the car. She is NOT rescue only so she can be responsibly ADOPTED or she can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer her stability and commitment until she gets her Furever home. MARIGOLD is listed as a female, tan Beagle and Pittie mix of about years old weighing 38lbs.   ##2807366##

Story
* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org.* This dog will be at the Pet Food Express Pet Fair - Roseville on Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th from 10AM–3PM both days (unless adopted prior to the event).  1009 Galleria Blvd. All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $650 She's the last one left! Peach is an 11 week old Beagle/JRT mix (with probably a few other breeds thrown in for good measure) who is ready to put her shelter days behind her and wiggle her way into a forever home. She's currently about 6 pounds and we expect she'll be in the 20 lb range when full grown. All of her littermates have already found their happy endings—now it's finally Peach's turn. Small but Clever Peach is a sweet little baby who loves being held. She is an affectionate girl who will happily snuggle into your arms, then curl up for a nap—sometimes using one of her toys as a tiny pillow. Don't let her petite size fool you, though: this clever girl knows exactly how to use her smaller stature to her advantage during backyard zoomies, darting through spaces bigger dogs can't navigate quite as easily. Peach's day begins by 7 a.m., when she lets her foster know she's ready to get moving. She heads outside for an hour of playtime before returning for breakfast. The rest of the day is spent playing and napping in her pen, with food available to graze on while her foster is at the office. Once her foster comes home, she enjoys another hour of outdoor playtime, followed by dinner and more puppy fun before settling in for the night around 11 p.m. Peach is doing well with potty pad training, though her adopter should expect to continue the usual puppy training as she grows. She combines sweetness, cleverness, and playful puppy energy in one precious little package, and would love a family ready to hold her close, cheer on her zoomies, and provide plenty of toys suitable for both playing and pillow duty. Time for a Happy Ending Peach is the last of her litter still looking for a home—don't let this sweet, clever girl wait much longer for her happy ending. September 20, 2026, 5:26 pm
