She’s an old girl so she has arthritic joints, and needs some nice soft beds and pillows to hang out on.

We found Lucky abandoned in our neighborhood a couple weeks ago. He was shy and scared at first but quickly warmed up to our dog and started wagging his tail and cuddling with us humans. We tried our best to find his owners but once it became clear no one was looking for him we registered him with the County shelter and decided to keep him until we could get him a good forever home. We learned that he is about 11 months old and gets along really well with other dogs. So well, in fact, that it would be great if he could move into a home with another dog already present! Once he came out of his shell he revealed himself to be a loving, playful, and energetic little guy who is equally comfortable roughhousing, going for a hike, and being a lapdog on the couch. If we had the capacity for two dogs right now we wouldn't hesitate about keeping him. He is house trained, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. We think he will train easily (he's a smart one!) and is almost full-grown.

Low maintenance 9 year old 40lbs beagle pit mix named Junior who was a great companion to the family until we had our first child. We discovered that he doesn't get along with our child. We don’t want to give him away but we can’t have him with our kid, so we are hoping to find him a new home, with someone who wants a big lapdog and doesn't have other pets or kids. He loves adults and attention otherwise, just doesn’t seem to understand that our kid isn’t a chihuahua competing for the dog bed.

Meet Autumn and Dixie! They’re half sisters who are 9 years old (8 months apart). We got them as puppies and they’ve been great companions to us through many moves and seasons of life. Unfortunately since having our first baby we haven’t been able to give them the love, attention and exercise that they need. They love to cuddle, go for walks, and have lots of attention. We are seeking a loving home who will keep them together since that’s all they’ve ever known.
