Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
I have had miss Gemma since she was 8 weeks old. She came from a small farm in Pennsylvania. She has grown up with my two sons, now 10 and 14. She is a big sweet couch potatoe. Unfortunately we have to sell our home and can't take her with us. Please give my sweet girl her final home.

Story
Reggie is great little puppy, he has a FANTASTIC temperament, he is great with other dogs and doesn't know a stranger. Reggie is the first one to break away from his siblings to come up for love. He has learned to sit for treats and stays sitting to maximize his reward! Reggie just turned 3 months old, he currently weighs around 15 lbs. He currently is a in a playgroup with his mom, 3 siblings, (recently a 4 month old puppy that was just adopted) and now a 5 month old has joined the group. He is well socialized! We have zero clue what his mix is, his mom looks like a petite hound mix of some sort so that is what we have him as. Reggie loves toys, he is an affectionate boy and will make a great addition to most any family. His mom is such a sweet and gentle girl, she has been a great role model for her puppies. Reggie is fully vetted with 4 puppy vaccinations, neutered, rabies, microchipped and he is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Story
Rivet is a sweet and somewhat cautious puppy. While his siblings go into everything head first, you will need to earn his trust...BUT, if you have treats in your hand, he will follow you to the ends of the earth. Rivet is very treat motivated, and already at 3 months old will sit and even lie down to get a treat. He loves toys and doesn't know a dog stranger. All dogs are his friends. Rivet weighs around 18 bs as of 8/22. He is still with his mom and siblings. His mom is a great example for him, he has had several other playmates besides his siblings, so he does well socially with other dogs. Rivet is fully vetted with 4 puppy vaccinations, neutered, rabies, microchipped and he is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. This is an Out Of Town listing, we transport near the city on this listing. _______________________________ Considering adoption? Story
Wilbur is not a Spotty Dog.  If you're interested in meeting him, please call Anne 203-219-2663 or email annewilkinson@gmail.com Wilbur is a 70 pound, almost 7-year-old mixed breed neutered male. A dog DNA test listed him as 1/4 each beagle, husky, AmericanStaffordshire terrier and the last quarter was a bit of everything.Wilbur was adopted in December 2019 as a ~4 month old puppy from Companion Pet Rescue (I have contacted them twice about taking Wilbur, with no reply). Due to many life changes and health issues within the family, we can no longer keep him.Wilbur has met other dogs and been indifferent to them. We have aggressive cats that do not want him around but he was curious about them and when he got swatted by one, he backed off but did not try to hurt it., He has met children but has not lived with any. He will probably be fine in a home with another dog or dog savvy cats. Wilbur is incredibly friendly, loves _everyone_, and wants nothing more than to be with his humans as much as possible. If there is a heavy duty chew toy around he’ll be in heaven. He loves walks and chances to sniff around in new places or on car rides. He does well at home alone, although he will need time to adjust in a new home, as he can be anxious. He is crate trained, but is OK home not in his crate, too.  Wilbur is leash trained although he does pull some. He will sit and lay down on command and come if he feels like it or you have a treat. He has been known to “counter surf”. He also is a dog with opinions and if he doesn’t want to do something (get in a new car, have his nails clipped, be groomed at the groomer) it is tough to get him on board! He will sometimes snap when he doesn't want to do something, but only as a warning. I do have to give him an anti-anxiety med to take him to the vet to have his nails clipped. Between West Haven Animal Clinic and ShotVet, he is up to date on his shots and in good health.  Wilbur is an incredibly loving dog who has plenty of moments of playfulness. He will be a great companion for years to come, and I desperately want to find him a better home than the one we have unfortunately been able to give him. ##2763467##

Meet Ruger, an adult neutered male Beagle! He is about 4 yrs old. Ruger will be arriving in CT on 9/5 and we are accepting applications for him now! Ruger is house and crate trained. He is good with dogs, kids and men. Ruger has not been cat tested. Ruger is medically up to date and neutered. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2821823##
