Story
If you are looking for a sweet southern lady with great manners, look no further than Miss Daisy. Daisy is house broken, incredibly smart and wonderful with children. She loves bedtime cuddles, walks, going on car rides and being by your side. Daisy tends to like to lead when she is walked but is getting better with not pulling. It would be best to have an adult walk her until she doesn’t lead as much. She knows how to play fetch and loves running after a soccer ball. Daisy has just the right energy level. She enjoys getting her exercise but is also very content lounging around the house. Daisy is around 2 years old and is mature enough to listen well but still has the fun puppy energy when desired. She is a solid sleeper and overnight crate trained. Daisy seems unsure of other animals from what we can see and may do best in a one pet household or with a non dominant dog. Daisy is microchipped, spayed, and up-to- date on vaccines and preventatives. She would love someone to give her lots of cuddles, attention and moderate daily exercise. A household with children would also be a great fit as she seems to gravitate towards them. Daisy is the perfect addition to your family garden!

Story
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION Pringles is currently in foster care in Houston, Tx, We ship our dogs with Mighty Mutt Shipping IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ This sweet boy has had a rough life, he is approx 4 years old and 43 lbs.. we are not sure of his breed mix, but he may have some Beagle/lab in him.. he is a really nice dog, when we rescued him from the local shelter, he had been found dragging his back leg into a local business and they called animal control to pick him up, his left back leg was broken in several places and he had heart worms. we treated his heartworms according to the AHS recommendations but our Orthopedic Surgeon was unable to repair his leg as it was an old injury and had already set into place, so the only option was to amputate .. he hops around really well and is a lot happier now that he does not have to drag his leg around, he is house and crate trained and will run into his crate to sleep and will hang out in a doggie bed with the other dogs during the day..he is a bit of a Loner and doesn't like to play with the other dogs, but does well with them, he would rather hang out with a chew stick... so he would be a great companion for someone as an only dog or with a sweet laid back buddy.. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TX OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. Story
Meet Schroeder – Your Long-Bodied, Low-Ridin’ Lovebug! This one-year-old, 37 lb. beagle/corgi mix has a heart as big as his floppy ears and a smile that'll melt you right into a puddle. With his low-rider build, soft coat, gentle brown eyes, and precious grin, this sweet boy is as charming as he is cuddly. This guy is a bundle of joy and tail wags! He’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Schroeder loves giving kisses, hugs, and gets a serious case of the zoomies when he's excited. He enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, and chewing on bones—especially after a good romp in the yard. He’s food-motivated (and will happily prove it), has mastered waiting patiently for mealtime, and walks right into his crate like a pro. He’ll sleep soundly through the night, walks well on leash, and is also housetrained. Schroeder enjoys the company of other dogs and looks to them for guidance, so if he were to have a canine companion, it should be a calm, submissive dog who can serve as a mentor. That said, he can be reactive and would need slow, structured introductions to other pups. He also struggles with reactivity toward men and will require ongoing training and support to work through this behavior. Because of that, Schroeder would do best in a home with teens and up with minimal foot traffic and someone experienced and patient enough to help him build trust. A fenced yard is a must, and while he has enjoyed playing with other dogs, he would likely thrive best as an only dog in the home so he can have structure, security, and all the attention to himself. Despite the challenges he’s faced, Schroeder is full of potential, personality, and love. He just needs the right person to believe in him and give him the chance he truly deserves. Could that be you? His adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in Schroeder, please complete our online application at https://form.jotform.com/200883908893166. Questions? Email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Bay is about 12 weeks old and ready for a home to call his very own! This little cutie pie enjoys playing with other pups and loves all the nice humans that he meets. He'll be a fun addition to any loving home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pup’s at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
