Story
2 yrs old • Beagle Mix • 23 lbsMeet Merry, a 2-year-old, 23-pound Beagle mix with a sweet and gentle soul. Her life began outdoors, surviving on her own until she was rescued, frightened and covered in fleas, yet remarkably sweet. She has since been fully vetted, spayed, and is halfway through heartworm treatment, doing wonderfully.Due to her past, Merry is shy and cautious. She needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. Though she may startle at sudden movements, she is making daily progress. In just weeks, she has begun to open up and blossom.Merry is great with other dogs and cats, fully potty trained, and kennels calmly when left alone. At home, she is quiet and easygoing, loving to lounge on the couch or nap outside. In the yard, she enjoys running and playing in the sun.Merry would thrive in an adult-only home or one with only occasional, calm child visitors, as fast movements and loud noises frighten her. With familiarity, she may warm to regular young guests. She is a special girl who deserves to be someone’s whole world. Her first chapter was hard, but her next can be filled with love, safety, and patience.Merry is located in Houston, Tx and can be transported to most states for $300.00

Story
Happy is a 2 year old male Beagle mix who weighs around 35 lbs. Happy was dumped on the side of the road and ripped up his paw pads trying to catch up to the person who drove off after dumping him. Happy was taken in by a rescue in rural Arkansas where he remained happy and positive as they cleaned and treated his feet. Happy was and remains very happy to be saved. He is good with people including children and other dogs. We do not know how he’d be with cats.   Happy is neutered, fully vetted and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Name: DulcheBreed: BeagleAge: 6 monthsKids: Over 5Cats: NoDogs: yesDulche is a friendly, sweet, curious, beagle who’s ready to wiggle his way into your heart. With his big brown eyes and classic beagle charm, he’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. Dulche is full of playful puppy energy, he loves to chew on Nylabone and Benebone toys (no squeaky stuffed toys for this guy), exploring, and following his nose. He is smart, eager to learn and is working on basic commands. Dulche would thrive with an adopter who has beagle/hound experience, enjoys daily walks and playtime. He’d be happy in a home with another friendly dog or as the center of attention. Because he’s still young, Dulche will benefit from continued training and structure. Dulche would love a fenced in yard to run around in.Dulche is affectionate, goofy, and full of heart. Whether you’re out on an adventure or relaxing at home, he’s happiest right by your side.If you are interested in Dulche, please fill out an application with the Meriden Humane Society.https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

Story
We are looking for a very special home for a very special dog. This sweet pup has a lot of love to give but will do best in a calm, adult-only home where they are the only pet. While Natasha is affectionate and loyal with adults, shes not comfortable around other dogs or children. Because of this, we-need a home without kids and without other pets. In the right environment she will thrive on routine, quiet companionship, and one to one attention.
