Meet Sparkles This little nugget, Sparkles, is absolutely adorable. She is just 12 weeks old. We believe she will stay small since she only weighs 9 pounds at 12 weeks old. Sparkles is thought to be a beagle/hound mix. She has beautiful brindle markings. She is so much fun and energetic, like any good healthy puppy. Sparkles loves people, likes dogs and would probably be good with cats. A little training to make sure she doesn’t get overly playful with them might help, but she has no aggression, just happy puppy energy and enthusiasm. Sparkles is super sweet, she loves to snuggle, loves attention (what puppy doesn’t?) and she is curious. She loves exploring as the whole world just opened up to her. Her little face is so pretty, and her warm brown eyes just make you fall in love. If looking for a young puppy, Sparkles is a gem. If interested in Sparkles, please submit a dog application online at www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org Please call our shelter at 706-865-4135 or email us at smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net to let us know to be on the lookout. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.

They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Turner is an 8 month old beagle boy who is a bundle of fun . He is well mannered, does great with other dogs and was raised with children. He is house and crate trained. Turner was in a loving home but was an only dog and due to children’s activities/ school and full time working parents, they were unable to provide the attention he needs and deserves. He is now in a foster home with plenty of canine interaction and he is doing great! Turner would do best with an active family and another fur friend to play with!
