Meet Bumper — A Brave Young Beagle Looking for a Special Home One-Year-Old Beagle | Neutered | Up-to-Date on Vaccines Bumper’s story is one of survival and slow transformation. After being lost and on his own for five long months, this 1-year-old beagle is finally safe and beginning to learn how to be a dog again. He's shy, cautious, and still unsure about human touch, but he’s showing us he wants to try. Bumper is currently in foster care, observing and learning from the other dogs in the home. They’re helping him gain confidence and showing him that it’s okay to relax and trust. He’s taking baby steps, and every day is a victory. Because of his past, Bumper is a high flight risk and will need extra care when it comes to containment and leashing. He does not like to be touched or picked up, and he needs an adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly and gently. We are looking for an experienced beagle owner to become Bumper’s forever family. His ideal home will be: Beagle-savvy and knowledgeable about their sensitive nature and strong noses Patient, calm, and consistent, with no pressure to rush his progress Dedicated to ongoing training and socialization at Bumper’s pace Securely fenced yard and/or escape-proof containment Home with at least one confident, friendly dog to guide and comfort him Bumper isn’t ready to be your snuggle buddy yet, but he is ready to begin the journey with someone who truly understands him. If you're the person who sees potential in the shy ones and has the heart to help them blossom, Bumper is waiting to meet you. Could you be the one to help this brave boy find his way home?     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
My name is Jeanne! I'm a 10-year-old beagle, weighing in at 26 pounds. I've come a long way since I became an Angel dog with a severe medical condition called IMHA - Immune medicated hemolytic anemia that affected my liver.   I'm told that I have had the best medical care in my last 2 years with the rescue ranging from multiple ER visits, regular vet appointments, specialist and continual labs with follow up appointments, along with prescription medications. With this life changing event with my liver, I will have to remain on a liver protectant the rest of my life and I cannot have vaccines for the rest of my life due to the possibility of causing a relapse. I know it is a huge commitment, but I will have "extra requirements for my ongoing care" for the rest of my life including recheck of a CBC (complete blood count) every 3 to 6 months working closely with my veterinarian and avoiding exposure to contagious diseases - this includes group settings with unknown dogs, boarding environments, kennel environments or environments with wildlife.   I'm really good at sleeping the day away in a dog bed, the couch, sometimes the floor and let's not forget about taking naps out on the deck in the sun. I sleep in the human's bed curled up against one of them or in a dog bed on the floor in the bedroom.I can sleep the entire night away - no worries there, and won't get up until you tell me we have to or that it's time for breakfast! I love simply being touched and petted, given treats and food.   I'm not destructive and don't have potty accidents in the house, but I do throw up from time to time. I'm 100% trustworthy and never crated. I'll let you know by barking when I need/want to go outside.   Here's a little info: I enjoy being around other dogs - it's kind of crazy at my foster home because I've been around 7 other dogs, and we all like each other. I really just kind of hang with them and we are all just pretty much a pack, but I can be independent too. I guess if you can say "I get a little loud" when I know it's feeding time because I bark and carry on - that will be most energetic you will see me because it really is the highlight of the day along with when it's time to go upstairs to go to bed.   I would love to meet my new family soon; I've been waiting for you. If you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application for me today!   For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. *** LOUIE HAS A GUARDIAN ANGEL WHO IS SPONSORING HIS ADOPTION DONATION *** Ever wanted a dog who believes leadership is important? Meet Louie. Louie is a Beagle, which means two things:He has a nose that could locate a sandwich from three zip codes away, and he has opinions. Louie is not a bad dog. In fact, he’s a very good dog. But he’s also the kind of dog who believes life works best when there are clear rules, daily exercise, and a human who actually means what they say. Right now Louie is under-exercised and under-socialized, which means he’s developed hobbies like guarding couches, high places, and challenging management. The good news? Louie already knows basic obedience and he’s crate trained. He’s smart, loyal, and perfectly capable of being an amazing companion. What Louie doesn’t need is someone looking for a baby. He needs someone who understands Beagles and isn’t afraid to be in charge. Louie is looking for an experienced dog owner who will provide real exercise, structure, and boundaries. His ideal home will:• Provide plenty of exercise• Have a securely fenced yard for sniffing important Beagle business• Set clear rules• Not include children under 16• Best suited for an active adult household Give Louie structure and leadership and you’ll discover a fantastic dog with a huge personality and a loyal heart. Story
Dally Your Little Shadow with a Big Heart Dally is 4½ years old and as sweet as they come. She came into rescue as a devoted mama and raised nine beautiful puppies — all of whom have found loving homes. Now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s whole world. Dally lives in a foster home with big dogs, a little 10-lb pup, a cat, and kids — and she fits right in. She’s crate trained and 99% potty trained… she just prefers a little company for her potty breaks. If you don’t walk out with her, she’ll politely sit on the porch and wait for her favorite human to join her. She’s not dramatic — she just believes everything is better together. Dally is the ultimate companion. She’ll follow you from room to room and happily curl up beside you on the couch. She doesn’t ask for much — just love, reassurance, and a forever family to call her own. After raising nine babies, it’s Dally’s turn to be the baby. Story
Meet sweet and loving bonded pair, Zandra (brindle) and Stella (lighter face)! These sisters came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after they were both abandoned in an apartment. They have both adjusted well to life in their loving foster home, but can be timid and uncertain at times. Once they settle in and get to know you, both are very loving and have great personalities. Loud noises can make both Zandra and Stella a little nervous, so a home with older (or no) kids would be preferred. Zandra is a brindle-colored terrier mix. She is a mature girl, who is estimated to be around 8yr old, and weighs 43lbs. Zandra loves to play in her fenced yard, is treat motivated, and is eager to please. She is crate trained, perfectly house trained, and has a medium energy level. Although she always has a serious look on her face, don&#39t let it fool you - Zandra is very loving and sweet! Stella is a Beagle/Hound mix, is estimated to be around 5yr old, and weighs 40lbs. She loves to run around her fenced yard with her sister Zandra, is very food motivated, and is overall a sweet girl. Stella is crate trained and house trained. She is the caretaker of this bonded pair, and is always looking out for her sister and offering her support and love! If you&#39re interested in adopting this bonded pair, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Meet Peter Perrito, the handsome black-and-white heartthrob with the cutest white-tipped tail you’ve ever seen!  At just 6 months old and 30 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized low rider with an adorable build and an even sweeter personality. This little guy has medium energy — he loves a good play session, exploring the yard, and going for walks, but he’s just as happy lounging nearby soaking up attention. Curious, affectionate, and full of charm, he’s still learning about the world and approaching everything with a happy tail wag and playful spirit. His striking markings, short little legs, and constantly wagging white-tipped tail make him impossible to resist. Whether he’s making new friends, cuddling on the couch, or trotting around like he owns the place, this lovable low rider is guaranteed to steal hearts wherever he goes.
