We found Cookie while shopping at Sugarloaf Mall. On our way home, we witnessed something very sad — a kid stopped a truck, left this little puppy on the side of the road, and drove away. She had been abandoned. Cookie was very scared and sad. My daughter gently picked her up, and we brought her home. The first few days were heartbreaking. She didn’t want to eat or play and seemed very confused and afraid. After a few days, she slowly began to feel safe. She started playing with our cat and our other dog, and her sweet personality began to shine. Cookie is truly an exceptional dog,very gentle, calm, and obedient. She doesnbark, walks nicely on the leash, and is incredibly loving. Unfortunately, we cant keep her, but we wanted to give her a safe place to recover so she can be ready for a loving family. Cookie looks like a Bengal mix and has the sweetest personality. If you are looking for a loyal and gentle companion, Cookie could be the perfect friend for you.

A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Bastian. Bastian is a beagle that is estimated to be 8 years old. We recently rescued several beagles from a local animal control. What we know... these babies are all very SWEET. Because they came from a hoarding case, they have had minimal human exposure and are now learning what it's like to be a normal dog. These dogs will require a fenced yard, as they can't walk on a leash. Due to the breed and how much they like to howl, we are not recommending apartments due to noise concerns. If you are interested in learning more about this baby or the others we rescued, please apply to furkids.org.
