A WONDERFUL BEAGLE FRIEND: Approx. 2 years old/ Approx. 24 lbs. Hi, I'm Tyrone! I came to Mostly Mutts after my family's circumstances changed due to a job and medical challenge, and they could no longer keep me. I'm a little bummed about this, but I'm grateful to be here and am looking ahead to finding a wonderful new family to love and be loved by. Maybe that family is you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / I briefly met a kitty at Mostly Mutts, and I was very curious but respectful. This was a minor introduction, and all kitties are different so I'm not sure how I would do with other kitty cats. / My former family reported that I liked the kids I met while I was with them, though I don't recall their ages. I got to go on a daytrip recently with a nice volunteer and met a nice 6-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl and liked them, so if you have kids around these ages, let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a fun, active, and playful boy with a happy nature and a whole lot of personality! I'm friendly, sweet and a typical Beagle who loves to “talk” a bit. I'm also an adorable tail-wagger who is happy to be held and enjoys being close to my people. I was a little nervous during my bath, but I was mostly brave and very well behaved, showing everyone what a true gentleman I am. I'm a happy, lovable guy with plenty of fun, exuberance and sweetness to share! / Energy level: My former family reported that I had a higher energy level at approx. 6-8, so let's have some active fun together.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My former family reported that I know the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', and 'kennel' commands. These will be tested at Mostly Mutts soon. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let's continue my training together. / My former family reported that I did well in my crate and I'm doing well at Mostly Mutts too. / My former family also reported that I had good potty manners, though I did mark things. With training, this is very correctable, so just ask about that.    • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love stuffed toys, running and having fun in the Mostly Mutts play yard, and chasing after a ball! Of course, treats are pretty high on my list of favorite things, too. I'm always ready for some fun, and I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in my new home! / I can't think of any dislikes yet, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. A SWEET & ADORABLE GIRL: Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 34 lbs.   Hi, my name is Cassie! I was with Mostly Mutts a few years ago and adopted but my home didn’t work out long-term, as my family is having a baby and moving, and there was just too much going on in the home for me to feel secure. So, I’m looking for a wonderful calm natured new family. I’m in a wonderful foster home having a good time while I wait for my new family to come and adopt me! Perhaps you?   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: My former family reported that I didn’t like sharing toys or food/treats with other dogs. In my foster home, I wasn’t comfortable with a smaller dog we encountered on a walk. However, there’s a neighbor dog who is a Springer Spaniel, and we enjoy playing together! Since I’m not sure if living with another dog would be the best fit for me, perhaps I could be your only dog at home while having a dog friend or two in the neighborhood to enjoy playtimes with. I did meet other dogs at Mostly Mutts that were my size and I wasn’t ready to play with them, though I didn’t show any aggression. This was a short meeting. / No cats please. / There were younger kids in my former home, and they were too much for me. If you have mature kids 15+ years old, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a very sweet, loving girl who can be shy and nervous at first, but my affectionate personality really shines when I feel safe. I was super sweet and friendly during my photo shoot, and I’m a mellow girl most of the time. I would do best in a nice, quiet home with a calm, patient family. If there is a man in my new home, I’ll need him to be especially gentle and patient, as I have been skittish around male adults and will likely need extra time to feel comfortable. I absolutely adore female companionship and would happily spend my days snuggled close to my favorite person or be right by their side. I’m also a little more adventurous on walks when I spot a squirrel or chipmunk and may pull to investigate, so you’ll need to be ready for those exciting moments. And if I ever think I’m in trouble, I have the sweetest solution—I’ll roll right over for a belly rub! / My energy level is 5-7, so I do like some activity.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My foster reports that I’m a smart girl. I’m familiar with the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. I’m sure you can teach me more. Let’s continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers to all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners were good in my former home. / My former family also reported that I was potty trained.   • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love keeping my mind active and having fun! Playing fetch with a favorite toy is one of my favorite games, especially when I can make you work a little to get it back! Walks are definitely at the top of my list—I get so excited and will dance up and down when you grab my leash. I’m ALWAYS ready for a walk in my foster home! / I don’t like inclement weather or loud noises outside, such as fireworks, and I feel nervous when children are running nearby. I was also reported to dig out in my former home, so please don’t leave me unattended in the yard until you know I won’t do that. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I am looking for a great home with a loving calm and gentle family! A NICE LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. Hi, I'm Ajax! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home, and thankfully, they took me in! I've been soaking up all the love and attention from the wonderful volunteers, and now I hear that I'm ready to find a family of my very own—I think that's the best news ever! I'm in a wonderful foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. Plan to come meet me soon and see if I'm your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn't quite ready to play, I also didn't show any aggression. I play nicely with the female dog in my foster home who's just a little bigger than me and my foster says I greet dogs of all sizes nicely on my walks, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I met some kids around 7 or 8 years old who approached me quietly and were very gentle with me and I liked them, so let's meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.      • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a small, very sweet boy with a gentle and affectionate nature. I can be a little shy or scared at first, but then I'm friendly with people and just like to take a moment to sniff new friends. I'm a relaxed little Velcro dog who really enjoys staying close to my special person! I'm a sweet boy with a loving personality. My foster says I'm a "dream boy, pleasure to foster, well-mannered and an all-around joy to have around." / Energy level: 3-5, it may increase a bit once I'm settled in my new home.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the 'come' command and I also walk pretty nicely on my leash. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were also good in one temp. foster home. In my current foster home, I don't want to sleep in my crate, but sleep well through the night on a dog bed next to my foster's bed. / My potty manners are good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love getting pets, belly rubs, cuddles, and being held! I'm also a big fan of attention, relaxing with a nice nap, treats, playing with my doggie foster sister and going for walks. Spending quality time with my people is definitely one of my favorite things! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have a mild luxating patella in my right rear leg so I'm on a good over-the-counter Cosequin tablet daily for that. I'm on medicated baths twice weekly for a bit longer to help clear up some flaky skin from a flea allergy and these can be done easily in my new home. I'm a sweetie looking for some wonderful people that will  make me an important member of the family. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.  September 28, 2026, 12:28 pm

Meet sweet and loving bonded pair, Zandra (brindle) and Stella (lighter face)! These sisters came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after they were both abandoned in an apartment. They have both adjusted well to life in their loving foster home, but can be timid and uncertain at times. Once they settle in and get to know you, both are very loving and have great personalities. Loud noises can make both Zandra and Stella a little nervous, so a home with older (or no) kids would be preferred. Zandra is a brindle-colored terrier mix. She is a mature girl, who is estimated to be around 8yr old, and weighs 43lbs. Zandra loves to play in her fenced yard, is treat motivated, and is eager to please. She is crate trained, perfectly house trained, and has a medium energy level. Although she always has a serious look on her face, don&#39t let it fool you - Zandra is very loving and sweet! Stella is a Beagle/Hound mix, is estimated to be around 5yr old, and weighs 40lbs. She loves to run around her fenced yard with her sister Zandra, is very food motivated, and is overall a sweet girl. Stella is crate trained and house trained. She is the caretaker of this bonded pair, and is always looking out for her sister and offering her support and love!
