Meet Mary, a gorgeous, 18lb, 3-year-old female Beagle who came to us from a hoarding situation. She spent some time in a foster home where they found she is a playful and loving girl who enjoys toys, belly rubs, cuddles, and comfy naps. She will need some patience as she gets to know you and a new environment but has made so much progress already! She worked on potty training in her foster home and made lots of progress with a good routine. Because of her past, she will need time to get used to a normal dog life. Mary is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard and previous beagle experience. She would do best in a home with older, respectful children.Mary is looking for a foster or foster to adopt home. She was recently diagnosed with a general autoimmune disorder, which causes flares when she gets sick. She responds well to the medication she gets for the flare ups, so our vet did not feel she needs to be on a long term med at this time to manage the condition. Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life.
