Story
RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT NICKIE AT  734-250-5367   Daisy is an 8-9 year old Beagle / Bulldog mix.  She is a round ball of love, personality, and snuggles.  Daisy May loves to play with her toys, get belly rubs, lounge on fluffy blankets and pillows, roll and jump in the snow, and cuddle up with any person she meets.  Daisy is known to enjoy a good car ride and excitedly wags her chicken-nugget-tail whenever she goes outside and the car door is open.  While she is a bundle of snuggles and love, Daisy May is a stubborn one and wants things the way she wants things.  She’s a gal that knows what she wants and when she wants it.  She is very trainable, yet patience and persistence are definitely required by the trainer.  Daisy is healthy and strong, yet she likes her cookies a lot, thus carries a bit of extra cushion.   Daisy would do best in a home with children that are older than toddler-age as she gets grumpy when people are too rough with her.  Daisy May cannot be in a home with other animals.  With other animals, Daisy becomes territorial with food, people (she has NEVER been aggressive toward people), toys, and her space   RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT NICKIE AT  734-250-5367 ##2622964##

Story
Welcome Roxie! This girl's life has been turned upside down and she is just unsure what all is happening. She has been living outside for the last 5 years and I was told not given the attention she deserves. She is 9 to 10 years old and about 35 pounds. She's good with dogs and cats but prefers ones that are not all up in her face and annoying 😳. She's an older girl and deserves her space. So far she's been potty trained but from her life she could have an accident while transitioning back to home life. She has been shy and not wanting attention but has no problem going for a walk with you. She does pull on the leash though so if you do not have a fence in yard keep that in mind. She has been to the vet and very happy to say she is heartworm and tick disease-free. She is now on prevention and her vaccines were updated along with a urinalysis, senior blood work and chest x-ray. 3 days in she gave me tail wags. She had a bath and nails trimmed and did well. Just given a little time she will be the perfect companion. I would say no toddlers that would be all over her. If you would open your home to a senior girl that just needs a retirement spot that is inside 🫣😬 she's looking for that love and warmth in her life.

Story
Bailey is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves to give kisses and snuggles. Shes technically a senior dog but she has lots of life in her. Shes in perfect health and can run and jump up into the car just fine. She will be around for many more years. Unfortunately my husband is allergic to dogs and we just found out our daughter is allergic as well so we need to find Bailey a new home. Shes great with kids and people. Bailey is a Beagle mix with a beautiful brown coat and white paws and chest. She needs to be the only pet in the home. She's good with other dogs but only for a short period of time. She does not like cats.

Story
My name is Peanut and I'm the sweetest, most affectionate lil' gal this side of the Mississippi! I love, love, LOVE snuggling and giving kisses. I'm an approximately 5 year-old female, predominantly rat terrier but my foster parents think I'm mixed with beagle. I'm currently overweight at 16 lbs. (ideal ~12 lbs.) but working on my summer bod via controlled portions and going on walks. Speaking of walks, I'm an absolute gem on a leash; I don't tug or pull nor am I reactive to other people, dogs, or distractions! Maybe it's these short little legs, but I walk at a very leisurely pace and I'm in no rush to get anywhere. Laid-back couch potato at heart, but I enjoy casual walks around the block and ride well in the car. I would prefer someone who can match my energy with a laidback lifestyle and let me nap next to them during the day and sleep next to them at night. My house-training is stellar; I use a doggy door to go outside when I need to and then come right back in; I'm very efficient! I'm also very trustworthy – my foster parents have never crated me! However, I have no issues with laying on a comfy dog bed in a crate and can often be found snoozing or chilling in there. I'm not a big fan of stairs but will navigate them if they are carpeted or have tread covers. I'm food-motivated and quick to learn! I enjoy playing with and squeaking my toys and occasionally chewing on rubber Nylabones. I do fine with other respectful dogs big or small, but prefer to avoid rambunctious pups. At this point, you must be wondering how a great, mellow dog like me could end up without a home? Sadly, I wound up in a shelter after my elderly owner passed away – but was thankfully pulled for rescue. Despite my loss, I remain sweet and gentle and would make a wonderful companion in a calm, steady home.
