Story
1 1/2 years old rescue who spent 1st year neglected, kept in a pen outside, would sleep on top of his dog house because the ground was covered in feces. NEEDS a secure fenced yard because he WILL run away, fast & far. Needs to be supervised due to a habit of chewing household items but he's still a puppy & will likely outgrown this. Sweet, goofy, non-aggressive, happy to be out of his former sad life. He is pure joy in dog form. Super high energy, very smart, funny. Would be a great family pet for active patient people with a sense of humor who would like an entertaining dog. He loves to run around outside, throw toys around in the air and play fetch. He loves to play with other dogs. Needs a loving home where he can run around safely, with owner who can give him the love & care he needs that he didn't get as a puppy. A secure fenced yard, time and patience are necessary for this happy goofy little guy because he is great but he is a handful. Character limit here -- can email details.

Story
I rescued Daisy Mae in October of 2023 in Flint. She’s about a year and a half (maybe closer to 2) as the previous owner told me she had a litter not too long before I got her. Unfortunately, my living situation is no longer steady and I’m struggling to take proper care of her. Daisy’s very much a companion dog, never not at my side, loves to cuddle, play with her rubber bones and can run around outside all day long. She is very sweet and chill when she wants to be but I do take her on multiple walks a day. Because she is a rescue, she has some troubles with adult males and a bit shy with anyone new but with little time and care she will become very close and loyal to any and everyone.

Story
Dwight was acquired from the Shiawassee Humane Society in 2020. They were unable to give us specifics on his bread other than being a beagle mix or his age. He is suspected to be around 6-8 years old. A good home would be one that would be able to spend a relatively good amount of time with him (He does great while I'm gone for work from 6 am-5:30 pm). A fenced-in yard would be recommended as he does like to explore if he gets out but of the few times it's happened, he comes back within 5-10 minutes. He's been around all ages of kids from infants to toddlers, and young kids. He has lived with two other dogs and cats simultaneously and has always gotten along great with other animals.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rex is a lover and teddy bear. He finds his one human and follows that person around all day. He likes to run around the backyard, nap on the softest blankets, and get belly rubs. He is discovering his love for toys and will play by himself with them. Rex is still working on not marking in the house, begging, and jumping on the counter for food. Also, Rex will need a secure yard and be watched when he is outside as he is a digger and a jumper. Rex is best suited for a home with other dogs as he has separation anxiety, a home that can give him the love and attention he deserves, and place to call his furever!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate May 24, 2024, 11:56 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Clyde! Clyde is a 3 year old male beagle. He is such a chill guy, not very active at all. Happy to be on the couch next to you. Clyde has completed his heartworm treatment and been neutered. He’s now finding that he has some energy. He probably feels good enough to be running around in the yard every now and then.  Clyde gets along with other dogs, a female dog companion in the home with him would probably be best, he’s very much a ladies man. He is fine with the cats as well,  He is also food motivated. He’s a very sweet and gentle guy.  Clyde will be very much a loyal dog to whoever his owner is, he looks at you with those big, loving eyes. Anybody that takes him in will not regret loving this sweet boy.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate May 24, 2024, 11:56 am

Story
Lady Lady is a Female Beagle/Boxer Mix DOB: August of 2021 Adoption fee: $150.00 I currently weigh around 40 pounds, I could use to gain a little weight, but I am a very nice size for those wanting a smaller/to medium size companion. I am playful and loving but unfortunately, I have tested light positive for heartworm. I am currently looking for a foster home or foster with the intent to adopt until I have completed my treatment. Not much information came with me when I arrived at the shelter except, my owners could no longer care for me, and very little vetting was provided while in their care. I have had at least one litter of puppies, but I am now spayed, and I feel so much better. I would do best with a physically fenced yard (I may require it). I walk well on a leash, and I appear to be house-trained. Pending a meet and greet, I may match with another dog. I have not been tested with cats yet but can be with an approved application. I would do my best with children 10 yrs. and older. I will make a great companion for the right situation.
