Story
Huck loves attention. He greets all guest with a wagging tail and accepts all pets from everyone. Although Huck is around 12 years old when he is around young children he will run with them and when around other dogs to play. However, he loves to be lazy, cuddle and sleep. Huck does not like to wake up at the hours I wake him up, 4:00am however it is a must because of my work schedule. We go for a walk around the block and then he is home alone until around 8/9pm at night. Huck needs a home where multiple people are around to be with him, interact with him. Huck is house trained. Follows sit, relax on your blankie, outside, walk. I no longer crate him because I am away too long. I gate him in my kitchen. His is slow on his leash because he loves to sniff everything! Huck is neutered. He is microchipped. no medical conditions. no special needs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Buddy is a handsome beagle and/or hound mix who is looking for a home! Buddy is with our partner rescue in Louisiana and is headed to a NJ foster home on 12/13. Buddy was dropped off at the shelter as a stray. He was very skinny then but he has flourished in his foster home and is happy and healthy now. His foster mom in Louisiana says he is mellow but also likes to play. He is friendly with other dogs and cats but hasn't been around kids yet. He loves balls and frisbees but doesn't know how to bring them back! He is housebroken and crate trained. Buddy is fixed, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $550.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to wag-on-inn.com. To apply, click HERE or on our website, go to Adoptable Pets and Adoption Application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 29, 2025, 2:29 pm

Story
Cinnamon is 9 years old and is the sweetest most timid little thing on the planet. Shes great with dogs of all age and size, the same goes for with cats! Shes very quiet and loves to cuddles on the couch and especially the bed. She has developed arthritis in her back leg so sometimes she does limp but I give her a little THC drops for dogs and rub her leg and she’s back in the game. She loves going outside and running as fast as her little legs can take her but she also enjoys her warm cuddles . Shes a perfect fit for someone in older age or with someone that isn’t SUPER adventurous since cinnamon is 9 with arthritis, but again she loves her exercise. She’ll cuddle up with your cats children, dogs, anyone honestly that will let her. You can’t raise your voice to cinnamon because she will most likely pee because she’s so timid. She’s been timid since I adopted her from the apca in 2018. She’s a perfect fit for anyone wanting to grow old with this special little lady. She so loving!!!!!

🆘 EUTH LISTED – KENZIE NEEDS A SAFE PLACE 🆘 Kenzie came into the shelter as a stray and has shown herself to be calm, gentle, and loving. She enjoys attention, is dog-friendly, and would make a sweet, affectionate companion for someone looking for a mellow, easygoing dog. At 36 lbs, Kenzie is a great medium size — not too big, not too small — and would fit nicely into many homes. She has a quiet, kind demeanor that makes her especially appealing for a relaxed household. Despite her wonderful temperament, Kenzie is now euthanasia-listed simply due to lack of space and time. ⏰ Time is critical 🐾 Dog-friendly ❤️ Calm, gentle, affectionate PLEASE TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
🚨 URGENT – LITTLE ONE NEEDS A SAFE PLACE TO LAND 🚨 Little One was surrendered through managed intake when her owner could no longer care for her. She didn’t just lose her home — she lost her sense of safety overnight. She came in with Bear, and the comfort they bring each other is obvious. The shelter environment is overwhelming for her. She can be timid at first, especially in the kennel, but once she feels secure, her gentle, sweet nature shines through. Little One is not a “shut down” dog — she is a sensitive soul trying to process big changes. She needs patience, calm reassurance, and ideally another dog (especially Bear) to help her feel confident again. 🐾 Dog-friendly 🐾 Gains confidence with another dog 🐾 Gentle and sweet 🐾 Needs a calm, patient home The noise and stress of the shelter are not where she will thrive. She needs someone willing to move slowly, speak softly, and let her heart open at her own pace. She lost her home. Please don’t let her lose her chance at life too. Who can step up for Little One? And maybe keep her with Bear — the friend who makes her feel safe? 💔🐾 PLEASE TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
🆘 URGENT – SENIOR IN DANGER 🆘 Phillip needs a miracle NOW Phillip is a very sweet senior boy who came into the shelter as a stray, and through no fault of his own, his time is running out. At just 17 lbs, this little guy is skinny, gentle, and overwhelmed in a place no senior should spend their final days. Despite everything, Phillip is still incredibly loving. He walks well on a leash, appears to be house-trained, and is dog-friendly. He’s calm, kind, and just wants a soft place to land. The look in his eyes says it all — he’s trusting us to help him. Senior dogs are often overlooked, but Phillip would make the perfect quiet companion. He doesn’t ask for much… just safety, kindness, and a chance to live out his golden years knowing love instead of fear. ⏰ He is URGENT and at risk of euthanasia! PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152
