Miss Vivian is currently with our partner rescue in NC but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters! Miss Vivian was found as a stray but never claimed. She is in a foster home and has started her treatment for heartworm. Miss Vivian is dog friendly and currently lives with 2 great danes. She is also an escape artist so she will require a very secure yard.  Miss Vivian is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is currently being treated for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $300.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Ana was found as a stray with Tatum and no one ever came to claim her. She's now with our partner rescue and hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We offer a foster to adopt program to approved adopters. Ana is described as being sweet and calm. She is good with other dogs and also good with kids. Ana did great on her cat test. Hello! My name is Evelyn and I am 2-3 years old. My rescuers think I am a chihuahua/Beagle mix. I am 30 pounds of awesomness! I had a sad start in life but I am happy and loved now! I was rescued from a kill shelter with my 9 babies! They were going to euthanize us all due to low space in the shelter and because my babies had ringworm. I was so scared at first when I got to my foster home but I quickly learned that my foster family loved me very much and would never hurt me. I have been a stray and a mommy but now I would like to try being someone's baby. I promise to try to be the best baby to someone who wants to love me and give me a chance. I love playing with my stuffed toys and I can be quite silly, now that I can relax a bit. I am fully vetted and ready to be adopted. This little nugget is Casi. She's about a year old and weighs 16 pounds. She's a delightful little girl, with such a bubbly personality. Casi can be timid at first meetings but she bonds very quickly with her people. She really loves interaction with people. Loud noises or severe sudden movements can frighten her. She loves other dogs but can be socially awkward and doesnt pick up on their ques She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, can be playful but also sometimes submissive with other dogs so a dominant dog in the home wouldn't be a good fit for her. Once you're in her circle she is the happiest little girl, tail wagging a mile a minute every time she sees you. She can get a little over-excited at times and be mouthy but gentle mouthy, as such we do not recommend a home with small children. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application These girls were all hound mommas living in Louisanna.  The all lived with no owner in some swampy area field and all needed to be trapped with their babies to find a better life and brought to NJ.  They are all heartworm positive and we are treating them for that.  All are spayed and up to date on shots.  These girls are shy but very sweet,  loves other dogs and are very gentle with everyone.  Great with housebreaking no accidents in the house but you have to let them out.  They love sitting in the sun.  Any family would be very lucky to adopt one or maybe two of them as they love each other as well.  They love food and treats,  just shake the treats and they all run right in.  These girls all have my heart,  but I obviously can not keep them all.  LOL.  They are small hound girls about 35 lbs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 10:41 am
