Story
We acquired him directly from the previous owner. He is 1 1/2 years old with high energy. Is very skittish but once he gets use to you he loves to cuddle up and be playful. He loves to play with chew toys but unfortunately he tares them to pieces very quickly. He loves to play fetch at the dog park but you need two balls to keep the fetching going otherwise he tares the ball up. He is very funny and very adorable with the things he does.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Brodie is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Brodie, your future best friend (and professional heart-melter).   This adorable 5-month-old beagle/hound mix (best guess) may be a bit of a mystery—he was found as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past—but one thing is crystal clear: Brodie is 100% pure puppy perfection. With his sweet face, curious eyes, and irresistible charm, he’s already winning hearts wherever he goes. Brodie is at that fun, wiggly stage where everything is new and exciting. He’s ready to learn, ready to play, and most of all, ready to love his people with that signature puppy enthusiasm. Whether it’s exploring the backyard, going on little adventures, or curling up after a busy day, Brodie is just looking for someone to share it all with.   Since he’s still a baby, Brodie will need a family willing to guide him as he grows—think training, patience, and lots of treats (he fully supports this plan). In return, you’ll get a loyal companion and a lifetime of tail wags. Brodie didn’t have the easiest start, but his future is looking bright. Could that future be with you?   He is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $600.    - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 20, 2026, 10:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NJ Daisy is in NJ looking for a foster or adopter. Looking for a loyal best friend? Meet this sweet little shadow! This beautiful girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but don't let her timid nature fool you. With a little patience, gentle encouragement, and lots of love, she blossoms into one of the most devoted companions you could ever ask for. Once she trusts you, she's the definition of a Velcro dog. She loves being close to her people and will happily follow you from room to room—even if you're just making a quick trip to the bathroom! At bedtime, she's perfectly content curling up on the bed and sleeping peacefully by your side. Because she's naturally skittish, new experiences can be intimidating at first. Strange noises or unfamiliar objects may send her looking for a safe place to hide. The wonderful thing is that she's already shown how quickly she can gain confidence. For example, she was initially frightened by the robot vacuum, but after watching it for a few minutes from the safety of her foster dad's side, she realized it wasn't scary at all and calmly relaxed. With patient introductions and positive experiences, she continues to grow more confident every day. She's wonderful on a leash once she's comfortable with her handler, but because fear can cause her to bolt, she'll need an adopter who is committed to keeping her safe. Secure handling, a properly fitted collar or harness, and extra caution around doors and during car rides are essential while she continues to build confidence. She also enjoys having canine companions, especially dogs with calm, respectful personalities. Very energetic dogs that rush into her space can overwhelm her, so she'd do best with a moderate-energy dog who will give her time to settle in and become friends. This sweet girl has already made incredible progress in foster care, and it's been so rewarding to watch her personality shine. She even has a playful side and loves hopping up onto high places or greeting her favorite people with happy little jumps. What she's really looking for is someone who understands that love takes time. If you're willing to let her move at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who simply wants to be loved—and who will love you right back with her whole heart. Daisy is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  She    has been spayed and microchipped. Her  adoption fee is $500 Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application These girls were all hound mommas living in Louisianna.  The all lived with no owner in some swampy area field and all needed to be trapped with their babies to find a better life and brought to NJ.  They are all heartworm positive and we are treating them for that.  All are spayed and up to date on shots.  These girls are shy but very sweet,  loves other dogs and are very gentle with everyone.  Great with housebreaking no accidents in the house but you have to let them out.  They love sitting in the sun.  Any family would be very lucky to adopt one or maybe two of them as they love each other as well.  They love food and treats,  just shake the treats and they all run right in.  These girls all have my heart,  but I obviously can not keep them all.  LOL.  They are small hound girls about 35 lbs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 11:36 pm
