You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application These girls were all hound mommas living in Louisianna.  The all lived with no owner in some swampy area field and all needed to be trapped with their babies to find a better life and brought to NJ.  They are all heartworm positive and we are treating them for that.  All are spayed and up to date on shots.  These girls are shy but very sweet,  loves other dogs and are very gentle with everyone.  Great with housebreaking no accidents in the house but you have to let them out.  They love sitting in the sun.  Any family would be very lucky to adopt one or maybe two of them as they love each other as well.  They love food and treats,  just shake the treats and they all run right in.  These girls all have my heart,  but I obviously can not keep them all.  LOL.  They are small hound girls about 35 lbs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 11:36 pm

🚨 EUTH LISTED – SCARED BOY RICH NEEDS A HERO 🚨 Rich didn’t deserve to end up here. This 3-year-old, 30 lb gentle soul came into the shelter as a stray, and the noisy, overwhelming environment has left him feeling scared and unsure. But underneath that fear is a very sweet boy who just wants to feel safe. Rich enjoys soft, gentle pets and will lean in quietly for affection once he realizes you mean him no harm. He may startle easily right now, but that’s simply because the shelter is a frightening place for a sensitive dog. Despite everything, Rich is dog friendly and walks well on a leash, showing that he truly has the potential to be a wonderful companion once he’s given time to decompress in a calm home. What Rich needs most is patience, kindness, and someone willing to give him the chance to build confidence and trust. Dogs like Rich often blossom beautifully once they are out of the shelter and feel safe again. Right now, though, Rich’s time is running out. He urgently needs someone willing to give this gentle boy the opportunity to leave the shelter alive. Please help Rich find the safe place he’s been waiting for. PLEASE TEXT KAREN 4136298152

diesel is a five-year-old mixed breed dog. Diesel is our longest resident but a staff favorite. He loves long walks and playing in the pool in the summer. He loves stuffed toys and will play like a little puppy when he receives them. Diesel is house trained and may be able to live in the home with a female dog. Diesel does not show well due to him not being a fan of strangers, but once he gets to know you, you are in his heart for good. Diesels ideal home will be an adult only home with someone who understands the responsibility of owning a dog who does not warm up to people right away. Diesel will benefit from training and does great with the schedule and structure
