Meet Rosie!
Rosie is a 9-year-old 18-lb Beagle and one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs you will ever meet. She has big beautiful eyes that she'll use to make you fall in love with her instantly!
Rosie is a go-with-the-flow type of dog but would thrive in a quieter, calmer environment because that's what she is - quiet and calm. She's a big sniffer and loves taking her time on walks, exploring every tree and blade of grass available but she does get a little nervous around loud construction and traffic.
In the house, you couldn't ask for a better pup. Rosie never gets into anything she shouldn't, and after she gets the lay of the land will mostly just stick by your side. She lives for a good cuddle and ear scratch and is generally a sleepy dog that won't require much exercise or upkeep. Rosie is fully house-trained and can hold herself throughout an entire workday.
Her demeanor is that of a dog that just wants to please you and be loved by you - that's it. She is great with other dogs, kids and both men and women and will be happy in a wide variety of different environments.
If you're looking for a calm, low-energy pup that exists solely to love you and cuddle up at night, look no further than sweet little Rosie. Rosie is being fostered in Brooklyn, NY and her adoption fee is $400.
"To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal."
