Story
Nori has arrived in her foster home in NJ. She will be at our Saturday Adoption Event looking for a
forever home.
*Sponsored by the Grey Muzzle Organization*
Fully sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization.
Nori has been signed off by the vet and is ready for her forever home as an “as- is” senior sweetheart.
Meet Nori, an absolutely gorgeous senior girl with a gentle, loving spirit that will touch your heart from the moment you meet her. As a proud member of our Grey Muzzle Organization program, Nori’s adoption is fully sponsored—meaning this spectacular lady is just waiting for the perfect fit to open their heart to a lifetime of devotion. Don't let the "senior" label fool you for a second; Nori is full of life! She can do the stairs like a champ, loves to run, and has plenty of fun energy to share. While she was a little timid when she first arrived at her foster home—even giving her resident foster siblings a few warning snarls to show them who was boss—those initial nerves have completely melted away. Today, it is nothing but happy tail wags, sweet licks, and active, joyful play as she runs around the backyard with her canine friends. Nori has impeccable house manners and is virtually perfect in the home. She is completely trustworthy, a non-chewer, and her foster mom believes she could easily be left uncrated without a single worry. When company comes over, Nori is the ultimate hostess; she doesn't jump or bark, preferring instead to politely hop up on the couch to cuddle right up next to new visitors.
Nori is an absolute gem who has been successfully socialized with people of all ages—including a neighbor who is just a week old! She is also completely perfect with cats and takes her favorite treats from your hand with a wonderfully soft, gentle mouth. This easygoing girl knows her basic commands like "sit" and "stay," and she has such an inherently good nature that her foster family has never even had to redirect her. Nori’s favorite pastimes include heading out for nice walks, going on fun car rides, and spending peaceful afternoons sitting on the porch watching the world go by. She is even a total angel for grooming, allowing her foster mom to trim her nails and clean her ears with absolutely zero issues. It is truly heartbreaking when a wonderful senior like Nori gets overlooked, because she is a ready-made, spectacular companion who is going to make someone an incredibly loyal and loving pet. Nori is well worth a conversation, so please reach out to us at Trust Rescue today to meet this beautiful Platinum girl!
🌟 A Special Note About Adopting a Senior Dog 🌟
This Fido has been signed off by the vet and is ready for his/her forever home as an “as-is” senior sweetheart. Our senior dogs are proudly sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization, meaning there is no adoption fee to welcome one of these wonderful dogs into your home!
While the adoption fee is waived, we provide these dogs "as-is," and we ask that all potential adopters fully embrace the unique reality of a senior companion. Please be prepared for these common, graceful signs of aging:
Mobility: A senior dog won't move like a 2-year-old; expect mild stiffness or arthritis.
Sensory & Vitality: You may notice slight cloudiness in the eyes, hearing loss, or common, age-related heart murmurs.
Dental Health: Due to past life as a stray, many seniors have compromised dental health.
These are natural, non-emergency findings that come with age. If you are not prepared for a dog that acts and moves like a senior, we kindly ask that you explore adopting a younger dog instead. If you are ready to provide comfort, love, and a peaceful next chapter to a dog who has earned it, our seniors are waiting for you! ❤️
At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. You can trust that every "Fido" in our care is unique, fully vetted, and altered per veterinary guidelines, ready to find their forever home. While their weight or appearance may change as they settle in, our commitment to their health and well-being is unwavering.
Whether they're in Texas getting vetted, groomed, and altered, or comfortably settled in New Jersey, all dogs are entrusted to and under the custody of Trust Rescue. They receive loving care in dedicated foster homes or at our facility. No matter where they are, you can trust they are always with us and receiving the best possible care.
We've made our adoption process straightforward and accessible because we believe in making adoption achievable for everyone.
