We adopted Charlie as a puppy in 2018, and he been a cherished part of our family ever since. Charlie is a true cuddle bug and he's happiest curled up on the couch with his favorite human. Charlie adores food and will do just about anything for a treat. He's lived with many cats and gets along great with them, as well as other dogs. While he's a bit nervous in new situations, he's incredibly friendly and loving once he warms up. Like any good hound, Charlie enjoys exploring the world through his nose and will bark to let you know what happening. He's spent most of his life indoors with access to a fenced yard, and while he's not a runner, he has been kept contained all his life (through fence or leash). He loves his leash walks. Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs. She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive. She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days. PINC pays for these treatments. We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs. We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.
