Story
Meet Tink! Tink is a 1-year-old beagle mix who weighs 22 pounds and is full of love, personality, and playful energy! She is dog-friendly, doing great with crate and house training, and loves being part of the action. Tink enjoys going for walks, rides nicely in the car, and absolutely loves playing fetch with squeaky toys. Tink had one of her front legs removed after she was found with a severe bone infection that could not be treated. She has recovered beautifully and has adjusted amazingly well to life as a tripod. It doesn’t slow her down at all…she’s happy, active, playful, and ready for all of life’s adventures! Tink has already overcome so much in her young life and now she’s ready for the one thing she deserves the most… a loving forever home.  Could your family be the happy ending this brave little girl has been waiting for?   If you are interested in adopting Tink, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **  April 27, 2026, 6:58 pm

Meet Mozzie! Mozzie is approximately 4 years old and was such a joy to foster! He’s even-keeled and easygoing, walks well in a harness, and is working on not saying hi to every passerby (though he’s friendly and gentle when invited!). He loves a good nap but gets just as excited for long walks and playtime. Mozzie does great in his crate and isn’t destructive outside of it. He’s not big on toys, but anything edible? Yes please - bully sticks are his favorite! Whoever adopts Mozzie will gain a loyal friend for life! Breed, age, and size are not guaranteed. Apply to adopt Mozzie at BilliesBuddies.org/adopt

Introducing Turtle! 🐾Turtle is a sweet, low-energy Beagle/Hound mix who loves people in a big way and is looking for a family who will love him right back. He’s a devoted snuggler, ready to cozy up on the couch and share heartwarming moments with his favorite humans. He would thrive in a home with people who are home often, so he can soak up love, attention, and all the little joys of daily life. Story
Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##
