Story
Hello, my name is Tiberius, nicknames are Ty and Tibby Since my master is building a new business and has to be gone a lot, he would like to rehome me to a loving individual or family. I will need a lot of attention through the transition as I’m pretty connected to my master. As time goes on I will need less attention because it doesn’t take much to fill my cup. I am a stud after all, what can I say? Like any other dog or person once my cup is filled I behave well. I was born on a Saturday morning November 25, 2023 I am a beagle mixed with Anatolian shepherd. I have been sterilized and I am housetrained. I have only eaten dog food. I would love to make you a great companion in a forever home. Will you please take me home so my master doesn’t worry about me anymore? I have a sister named Jackie as well if you would consider taking her too, if not I just hope she finds a good home as well. Thank you!

Story
Meet Elsa, a stunning 35 lb beagle-husky mix with striking icy blue eyes. Elsa is on the search for her forever home, and while she’s come a long way since her rescue, she’s still learning how to navigate a world that was once unfamiliar to her. Elsa likely spent much of her life as an outdoor dog, so everyday experiences like car rides, leash walks, and meeting new people can be intimidating for her at first. But thanks to her dedicated foster, Elsa is making great strides in socialization and growing more comfortable every day. She absolutely flourishes around other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion in her forever home. Elsa is also very gentle with cats and has shown herself to be playful and kind. Although she hasn’t lived with children, we believe older kids, especially those who understand her nervous nature, would be a better match. Elsa is both kennel and potty trained. She enjoys the peace and comfort of her kennel when feeling overwhelmed, which helps her feel secure in new situations. Elsa is ready for a patient, understanding family who will continue to help her learn that the world can be a wonderful place, one step at a time. If you’re ready to show Elsa the love and safety she deserves, reach out to us!

Story
Buddy’s first week with us was a bit dramatic when he was diagnosed with double pneumonia after arriving from the shelter. We’re happy to say he is well on the road to recovery and ready to begin his search for his forever home! From being essentially lifeless and refusing to eat, his true beagle personality has emerged and boy is he a character. Don’t let that resting beagle face fool you! Buddy is fostered with other dogs but loves to be the center of attention and he definitely prefers not to share. He hoards all the bones to himself which are his favorite toy along with squeaky toys. He will hear the rustle of a wrapper or can of food and come running to the kitchen. He now never misses a meal. He has been known to wrap himself up in a blanket to get even comfier on the couch though he also has no problem sleeping in his crate. He uses his voice to let you know he’s happy or excited or that Amazon visits your house too often. Buddy the beagle, is estimated to be 3-4 years old, around 25 pounds, and already neutered. We will ensure he has a clean bill of health before he heads to his forever home. The adoption fee is $300 which is paid as a donation to the rescue. If you are interested in adopting Buddy, please go to our website and fill out an application: www.thefosterdoghouse.org
