Boone is a sweet smart boy. We don’t have time to care for him with our schedules. We just want someone who will keep him inside except for walks to go potty.

MY FOSTER`S EMAIL: allicruse@gmail.com- Beagle/Hound mix- Very quiet in the home- Crate trained and sleeps through the night- Dog- and kid-friendly- Loves to snuggle and be close once she’s comfortable- Will need a patient family willing to give her time to open up and build trust- She’s very timid, and outdoor noises scare her — she would be a flight risk, so walks aren’t recommended until she’s more confident- Appears to be house- and potty-trained — she`s definitely a holder

Story
Cinnamon is a wonderful dog and I am sad that I have to seek a better home for him. He was born in September 2012, which means he is a senior citizen dog. He was purchased by me from a breeder as a puppy. He is gorgeous, and always gets compliments. He has absolutely no behavior issues. His personality is laid back. He is not much of a barker, but when he does, his beagle wail is classic. With other dogs he is typically submissive, but loves to engage with them playfully. He also likes people and is quick to engage with anyone who shows interest in him. He has always been a healthy dog. He has had his share of ear infections but no other ailments. He has all the conditions you would expect in an older dog - he is slower, he sleeps more, he is slowing down on our daily walks, etc. I'm seeking a new home for him as I am traveling more often. It is expensive and I feel awful having to leave him in a kennel cage all day so often.

Story
Nash is one of those perfect family size pups that will fit in perfectly for any family with an active lifestyle, maybe a few young children that love to run and play and then snuggle while watching some special TV programs.  He was born around October 1st and he and his 3 siblings came to Critter Cavalry Rescue from a not so good environment and outdoor pen that was too small.  His personality is one of curiosity and excitement to learn new things and play with new people.   He is loving being inside a great foster home where he can sit on the sofa, play in a specious backyard with two fun girls over 10 years of age and then hang out with the older Beagle girls that belong to the foster family.  These puppies are always smiling and just happy to be getting the love and care that Critter Cavalry Rescue fosters promise to give. He is 25 pounds at 6 months and he is learning about potty training and crate training and how to be a little puppy gentleman while being part of the inside family activities.  He is not a runner but a fenced yard could be so safe and beneficial.  He needs training on the leash and could be so much fun to take on family hikes, or personal walks for the enjoyment of exercise and the ritual of exploring the great outdoors.  A fun event that showed just how adaptable Nash can be was when he attended a YMCA Puppy Yoga class and what fun it was.  He wandered amongst the Yoga participants saying hello and then discovering himself in the floor to ceiling mirrors that were all over the room.  He was fascinated with seeing himself. These were the most people he had been around in his life at one time!  He passed with flying colors and loved every minute as the hour came to a close and it was time to go home. He and his siblings did so well and they were so cute!!!  Sweet Nash has dreams in life and they are simple.  All he wants is to love his own people and to be loved in return.  A lifetime of promises await this little guy who will one day be a 35 pound adult that will be a treasure in your diary of the life and love of a dog.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state.  We are in Tennessee and adopt locally and also transport to the Northeastern corridor of states and meet the adopting families.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 4, 2025, 8:53 pm

Story
Mollie Mae is around four years old and 20lbs. We guess she's mostly beagle and dachshund, and her foster mom says her wonky front legs don't cause her any difficulty. She's very sweet and likes people, dogs and cats. She's potty trained and will be spayed very soon-- we expect her to be ready for her new home in mid-April, so get your applications in now! Mollie Mae's adoption fee is $275 and includes vaccines, microchip and spay. Story
Toby was rescued from a terrible situation 6 years ago. He weighs around 35lbs. He is current on his shots; not fixed. He is a very sweet and cuddly dog, not a mean bone in his body. He can keep himself entertained (throws soft toys around the room. Hilarious!) but also loves to play tug and chase balls. Gets along with every person and cat/dog he meets. Belonged to our daughter while she was in high school. But he was left with us when she went to college and got married. She had intended to take him back when she got her own place, but her husband doesn’t like dogs. So, we’re trying to find Toby a new permanent home.
