Story
I’m Mr. Peabody, a handsome tricolor beagle with the ears and voice to prove my beagledom!I’m a happy little boy who frequently has a smile on my face. I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray and I’m a typical beagle-size package, about 25 pounds. My estimated birth date is January 2019.I have a classic beagle voice and will use it when my human friends are moving too slow with the treats. I’m a joyful guy who loves my daily walks, especially when I can break into a little trot on my shortie legs.I’m an affectionate pup and excellent on leash. I’m looking for the beagle lovers out there! If my sunny personality is just what you need, call HSYC to meet me.If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
I’m Dax, a beautiful brindle mixed-breed boy who is so ready to have a fresh start in my young life!I was surrendered by my owner to the Humane Society of York County. I was pretty shut down when I arrived at HSYC and was hesitant when meeting new people. But lots of TLC and humans who believed in me made all the difference, and I’ve proven to be a serious love bug.I do great on leash with my daily walks, and I have nothing but love for the staff and volunteers at HSYC who love me back.I’m still a youngster with all of my life and love ahead of me. I’m a medium-size guy, about 35-40 pounds, and my estimated birth date is March 2025. I would do great in a single-person home, but it’s not a requirement. I just want a forever home that offers me love and stability that I haven’t had previously. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
