Story
Meet Holly!  Holly is a sweet, spunky beagle who will be turning 4 years old on August 26th — and she's ready to celebrate with her forever family! This happy girl lives for her sniffy walks, where every sniff is an adventure and every blade of grass tells a story. Holly loves belly rubs, butt scritches, and has a big personality to match her big beagle heart. She's never shy about saying hello to her fellow four-legged friends with her signature beagle aroos from across the way! Due to a previous leg injury, Holly does best with shorter, calmer walks — perfect for someone who enjoys a leisurely stroll rather than a marathon. She still gets all the enrichment she needs through her beloved sniff work, so her nose stays just as busy as ever! Holly is incredibly food and treat motivated, making her a joy to work with. She's adaptable, happy, and settles beautifully into new surroundings. After a good walk, you'll find her curled up right beside you on the couch or snuggled in bed — because where you are is exactly where she wants to be. Holly would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, as she doesn't love being left alone. She would do best with a calm canine companion by her side to keep her company and help her feel right at home! If you're looking for a sweet, soulful, adventure-loving companion who will fill your home with love (and the occasional awooo), Holly just might be your girl.    May 16, 2026, 10:35 am

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Amber Age: About 1 Year Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Beagle – Jindo Mix Color: White and Brown Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I once found myself on a euthanasia list I didn’t understand, in a place where time felt uncertain. Everything was unfamiliar, and I quietly waited without knowing what would come next. Then one day, someone saw me and chose to bring me out of there. That moment changed everything. I was no longer just waiting. I was finally safe. Now I’m learning what it means to feel calm, to trust, and to be cared for. I may still be discovering the world, but I’m ready to share my days with someone who will walk beside me.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Amber. I may have arrived quietly at first, but there’s a bright, spirited side of me that comes out once I feel safe. I’m naturally curious and a little bold at heart, and among my friends, I tend to be the one who steps forward first with a wag and a gentle hello. I can be a bit shy when meeting someone new, but I warm up quickly—and when I do, I’m full of affection. With people I trust, I turn into a sweet, loving companion who enjoys staying close and sharing soft, happy moments. I have a friendly nature with other dogs too, and I love their company so much that I’ll often curl up beside them, sometimes even using them as my cozy pillow for a nap. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog with a quietly confident heart, I might be the one who brings a warm, steady kind of joy into your life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly with a gentle approach, especially if there’s a tasty treat involved. Once I feel comfortable, I’m happy to be touched and I settle in with ease. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes everyday moments together feel simple and close. I haven’t had the chance to spend time with young children yet, so I may need a bit of patience and guidance as I learn · With Dogs: I’m a naturally friendly soul who loves meeting other dogs. I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I tend to feel most comfortable with dogs around my own size, and I approach them with an easy, open energy. Even if another dog comes on a bit strong, I’d rather step away than make a fuss. Having a companion nearby gives me a sense of calm, and I really shine when I have a dog friend by my side. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy going outside and exploring, but I also know how to settle down and relax once I’ve had my fun. On walks, I can get a little excited and pull at times, though I naturally stay connected and follow my person. Since I’m still gaining experience, I might pause and lower myself when something feels unfamiliar, but with gentle reassurance, I’m able to move forward and grow more confident step by step.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a calm, easygoing nature and feel comfortable sharing my space, even around food. I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark. I can feel a little unsure in a kennel and may whine at first, but I’m simply letting you know how I feel. I’m also flexible with my routine and do well with both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I feel most at ease when I have a dog friend by my side. I tend to lean on other dogs for comfort, and their presence helps me relax and feel more secure. With a companion nearby, I settle in more quickly and show my gentle, easygoing side. I don’t gain weight easily, so I do best with a steady routine and a thoughtful diet that helps me feel my best.    AMBER'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2724909##

Story
Beckham the Beagle mix didn’t choose his journey — but he absolutely chose how he would live it: with courage, joy, and an endlessly wagging spirit. 💛 His name wasn’t picked by accident; Beckham earned it. After a car accident, his left leg couldn’t be saved, but Beckham never got the memo that he was supposed to slow down. Instead, he carried on doing what he does best — running, playing, smiling, and greeting everyone he meets with pure, contagious happiness. Three years old and weighing about 15 kg, Beckham is the kind of dog who makes your days brighter simply by being part of them. He doesn’t see himself as “different” at all — he sees himself as ready. Ready for adventures, ready for cuddles, ready to love with his whole heart, and most of all, ready for a place to finally call home. Beckham has a calm, affectionate, and happy natured personality that makes him a joy to be around. He truly loves human company and thrives on attention, soaking it up with a grateful heart and a gentle presence. He is social and friendly, getting along well with both people and other dogs, and he is great with children, making him a wonderful fit for a home with kids aged eight and up. He is neutered, healthy, and up to date on his vaccines. Despite having three legs, Beckham doesn’t need special treatment. What he needs is simple — someone with a big heart who will really see him and choose him. Someone who will look at him and think, “You’re perfect. You’re mine.” ❤️ Beckham may not have had much luck so far, but the family who opens their home to him will be incredibly lucky. Story
Tia | Female | Approx. 4 years old | 22lbs | Dog and Cat Friendly | Toronto Tia is a very special girl looking for that special home that will invest the time and patience she needs to be herself. You can see the sweetness and willingness to trust in her big brown eyes, but she is quite shy at first and needs an adopter who will go at her pace. Even when she's unsure of things, Tia is the most gentle dog. Already Tia is making great strides in her foster home: in a short amount of time she's gone from timid to much more comfortable. She'll stay on her foster's lap for ear rubs, does a little dance when waiting for her meals, and rolls playfully around on her back accepting belly rubs. Her foster has gained her trust and been rewarded by joyful greetings in the morning with Tia launching herself onto the bed wagging her tail like crazy! She sleeps through the night and settles down for a nap when left home alone with the foster's dogs and cat. Tia is shy but curious when it comes to walking and meeting new people. She's calm and indifferent with cats and other dogs, but enjoys having their company, and would likely be fine living with either as long as they didn't come on too strongly. She'd do best with an adopter who is around a fair bit of the time and has a fenced yard. Few things are more rewarding than earning the trust of a shy dog. It's a really special experience to became their safe person and give them the foundation to be brave, comfy, and confident. In Tia's case, she doesn't require too much to build this trust. If you can go at her pace in the beginning, she quickly let's her inner affectionate goofball shine through. This will only become more and more apparent once she's in her forever home. If you can devote yourself to Tia, she will devote herself back a hundred fold. The shy guys don't always draw the apps, but often make the most memorable and special relationships and experiences.
