Story
Tiny is a petite, sensitive soul who has clearly had to navigate a tough start in life. Because of that, she values her personal space and feels safest when interactions are calm, respectful, and on her terms. With other dogs, Tiny communicates clearlyshell give a warning growl if another dog comes too close, and once her boundaries are respected, shes able to settle and relax.Shes shown that with calm, non-reactive dogs who give her space, Tiny can decompress, sniff politely, and even lie down nearby. High-energy dogs that are still learning boundaries can make her feel stressed, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important for her success. While she may coexist with the right dog in an experienced home, Tiny would truly thrive as the only dog, where she can feel secure and never have to compete for space or resources.Tiny is learning that people can be trustedand its been beautiful to watch. Shes formed a strong bond with her caregiver and now seeks out affection, even choosing to curl up and lay on them. Shes also made gentle progress with children, cautiously approaching an older child and allowing pettingsomething she wouldnt have felt safe doing just a week ago.Her kennel is her safe haven, and she does very well in it. She keeps her space clean and shows all the signs that house training will come easily in a home environment. Tiny doesnt want chaosshe wants peace, consistency, and someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed.Tiny would do best in a quiet, adult-only or older-child home, ideally as the only dog, with someone who can offer patience, structure, and love. In return, shell give deep loyalty, quiet companionship, and the incredibly rewarding experience of watching a once-guarded heart fully open. Story
Meet Skittles! Just like her colorful name, Skittles is a sweet little puppy with a personality all her own. Her mama is a small breed dog weighing approximately 25 pounds, so Skittles is expected to remain on the smaller side as she grows. Skittles is a friendly and social girl who is being fostered with both cats and dogs and gets along well with everyone. She loves following her foster family around the house, joining in on playtime, and being part of the action. While she doesn't pay much attention to the cats indoors, she does think it's great fun to chase them around the yard when they're outside together! When someone arrives at the door, Skittles is quick to let everyone know with a bark. Compared to her siblings, Skittles is a little more reserved and can be somewhat cautious in new situations. Because of this, she would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog who can help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. She may wiggle and squirm when being picked up, but underneath it all is a loving puppy who simply needs guidance, patience, and positive experiences as she grows. Like all puppies, Skittles is a blank slate with endless potential. She is looking for a forever family that is ready to invest the time, energy, and commitment needed to help her learn, grow, and become the wonderful adult dog she is meant to be. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who will be by your side through all of life's adventures. Story
Some dogs come into this world wrapped in comfort and love. Others, like Cannoli, have to fight for every bit of kindness they receive. Before he ever knew the safety of a warm bed or the joy of belonging to someone, Cannoli was a lonely little beagle mix wandering rural railroad tracks, searching for food, shelter, and a reason to keep going. Day after day, he survived completely on his own, listening to the rumble of passing trains while hoping someone would finally stop and notice him. Eventually, that day came. Cannoli was picked up and taken to the local police department before being transferred to a crowded high-kill shelter. But safety did not come easily for this sweet boy. Over the course of 113 long days, Cannoli watched people come and go while he waited for his chance. Four different times, he found himself on the dreaded last call euthanasia list. Four different times, somehow, this little survivor held on. And maybe that is because the shelter employees saw a good boy that deserved a chance at a good life. Finally, his miracle arrived. A rescue stepped in just in time, placing Cannoli in a loving foster home where he could begin healing not only from heartworms, but from the heartbreak of being unwanted for so long. Little by little, his true personality began to shine. The scared railroad puppy transformed into a goofy, playful, tail-wagging adventurer who greets every day like it is the best one yet. Cannoli is exactly what his name suggests sweet, comforting, and impossible not to love. He is a professional explorer of backyards, trails, and anywhere his nose can lead him. He believes every toy deserves a proper squeak test, every walk should include an adventure, and every treat should be carefully sampled like a true connoisseur of fine dining. And when the fun is over? Cannoli is more than happy to curl up beside his people, soaking in the love he waited so long to find. What Cannoli wants most is not perfection. He is simply looking for a family willing to continue showing him the beautiful life he fought so hard to reach a family as loyal, adventurous, and loving as he is. After surviving railroad tracks, loneliness, illness, and four separate chances at losing everything, Cannoli is finally ready for the happiest chapter of his story. Are you ready for the sweetest treat of all? QUICK FACTS Name: Forest Age: 1 year old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Beagle Jindo mix Color: Brown (with some white spots on my chest, paws,& tip of my tail) Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I'm safe, loved, and ready to find a forever family of my own. I can't wait to start the next chapter of my journey with people who will cherish me and love me forever.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY While I can be a little shy at first, I warm up quickly and am a very resilient boy. The love and care I've received at the care facility have helped me come out of my shell, and these days I often approach new people with curiosity and affection. I have a big appetite and love my meals, but I also have a fast metabolism and don't gain weight easily, which is why I maintain my slim, athletic figure. I'm a popular guy among my dog friends and, being a young dog, I enjoy fooling around, playing, and having fun with my buddies. I'm also a very affectionate boy who enjoys building relationships with the people I trust. I love giving kisses and look forward to spending time with the staff and volunteers who care for me. Although I'm healthy, I do have a slightly sensitive tummy, so I do best when new foods and treats are introduced gradually. One of my most charming features is my unique look. I have long, slender legs, a classic Jindo body, and an adorable Beagle-like face and ears. People often say I look a little sad all the time, but that's actually part of my charm and what makes me so irresistibly cute! With my sweet personality, playful spirit, and loving heart, I'm ready to find a forever family who will appreciate just how special I am.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm a little shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats. I'll happily take treats from your hand and allow gentle pets while I get to know you. As I become more comfortable, my affectionate side starts to shine. I allow myself to be picked up and, once I feel safe and relaxed, I love showing my belly for extra attention and rubs. With a little time, you'll discover that I'm a sweet and loving boy who enjoys building close bonds with my people. · With Dogs: I'm super friendly with my dog friends and love socializing with them. In fact, I'm quite popular among my canine buddies and enjoy spending time playing, exploring, and hanging out with the other dogs at the care facility. I generally get along best with dogs who have a similar size and energy level to mine, as we tend to enjoy the same style of play and interaction. My friendly and easygoing nature helps me make friends easily, and I genuinely enjoy having canine companions around. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times when I'm excited or curious, but overall I follow my handler's lead nicely and am a pleasant walking companion. I have excellent manners around food and do not guard my meals from people or other dogs. While I may bark occasionally to express myself, I'm generally a quiet and well-mannered boy. I know how to settle and rest calmly in my kennel when it's time to relax. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors, giving my future family a great foundation to build on. Most importantly, my confidence continues to grow day by day. As I gain more positive experiences and build trust with the people around me, I'm becoming a happier, more confident version of myself every day.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I'm an overall chill, easygoing boy who doesn't ask for much. While I may need a little time to settle in and fully open up, I promise I'm worth the wait. Once I trust you, I'll happily shower you with kisses, affection, and plenty of requests for pets and attention. I have a well-balanced energy level and enjoy both outdoor adventures and relaxing at home. My gentle nature and sweet personality make me an easy companion to live with, and I'm happiest when I can simply spend time with my people. If you're looking for a mellow, loving dog who will become your loyal companion and best friend, I may be exactly who you've been searching for.   FOREST'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2763203##

Story
Beckham the Beagle mix didn’t choose his journey — but he absolutely chose how he would live it: with courage, joy, and an endlessly wagging spirit. 💛 His name wasn’t picked by accident; Beckham earned it. After a car accident, his left leg couldn’t be saved, but Beckham never got the memo that he was supposed to slow down. Instead, he carried on doing what he does best — running, playing, smiling, and greeting everyone he meets with pure, contagious happiness. Three years old and weighing about 15 kg, Beckham is the kind of dog who makes your days brighter simply by being part of them. He doesn’t see himself as “different” at all — he sees himself as ready. Ready for adventures, ready for cuddles, ready to love with his whole heart, and most of all, ready for a place to finally call home. Beckham has a calm, affectionate, and happy natured personality that makes him a joy to be around. He truly loves human company and thrives on attention, soaking it up with a grateful heart and a gentle presence. He is social and friendly, getting along well with both people and other dogs, and he is great with children, making him a wonderful fit for a home with kids aged eight and up. He is neutered, healthy, and up to date on his vaccines. Despite having three legs, Beckham doesn’t need special treatment. What he needs is simple — someone with a big heart who will really see him and choose him. Someone who will look at him and think, “You’re perfect. You’re mine.” ❤️ Beckham may not have had much luck so far, but the family who opens their home to him will be incredibly lucky.
