Story
Lucy | 44 lbs | 6 years old | Dog-Friendly | GTA Lucy is a joyful and loving dog. She's sweet and snuggly. She loves to meet new people, get along well with other dogs, and is very polite on leash. Lucy has had one eye removed and has a significant vision impairment in the remaining eye. While she can see a very little bit now, she will likely lose all vision over time. This obstacle only reveals Lucy's incredible spirit. She is brave enough to try everything that any other dog likes to do. She's constantly learning and building confidence. One amazing thing about Lucy is how smart and patient she is when learning something new: if she doesn't get things right the first time she tries again, or strategizes a new way to do it. Lucy needs adopters who are similarly patient and resourceful! She craves adventures like any dog and loves to be outdoors. Lucy has a lovely relaxed energy. She's a deep sleeper, and doesn't require tons of daily exercise--one big walk a day usually does it! She needs a home with a fenced yard, as she loves to spend time outside. She'd do great as a second or third dog or as a solo dog, as long as she was with someone who was home quite a bit. She likes the security and companionship of canine or human company. Lucy came from difficult circumstances and it's beautiful to see her start to experience a new kind of life. She does a little happy dance and bark to show she is feeling excited and thankful about her fresh start! Any family would be lucky to get to introduce her to new comforts of living in a home, new adventures to try, and new people to befriend. Story
Meet Haram, a 7-year-old, 15kg male Beagle mix with a wonderful blend of Beagle and Labrador Retriever. He’s the perfect mix of lively energy and gentle calmness—an absolutely charming companion. Haram spent a long time in a shelter, even finding himself on the euthanasia list at one point. But by some miracle, he was rescued and given a second chance at life. Even after all those years in the shelter, Haram never lost his warmth toward people. He loves human touch, and when you approach him, he’ll gently make eye contact with you, wagging his tail in the sweetest way. It’s impossible not to fall for him. His personality is incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and is never aggressive, even when playing. He loves being social and interacting with everyone around him. When meeting new people, he opens his heart quickly, rolling over to show his belly in a playful request for some belly rubs. Haram is also a fantastic walking buddy. True to his Beagle nature, he’s curious and loves exploring, but as he’s gotten older, he’s calmed down quite a bit. After a good walk, he’ll lie down quietly, resting contentedly by your side. He genuinely enjoys the time spent walking with his family and can’t wait for those daily strolls. Because of his long shelter life, Haram doesn’t have much experience living in a home, so he might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. He might make a few mistakes at first, especially with house training, but he’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. With patience and love from his family, he’ll soon adapt to a steady routine and household rules. Haram is not just a “survivor”—he’s a dog ready to give and receive love. His eyes tell the story of trust, of wanting to live and share life with someone who will care for him. Now, what he needs most is a forever family who will fill his remaining years with warmth, joy, and laughter. Haram is waiting for that special family to take his paw and make his final journey a beautiful one.

Story
Quick Facts • Name: Ilkong• Age: 10 years old (born January 2015)• Gender: Male• Neutered: Yes• Breed: Beagle Mix• Color: Beige• Weight: 10 kg / 22 lbs• Microchip: Yes   My Personality I’m a true people dog friendly, affectionate, and always happy to be near my humans. If we’re meeting for the first time, I’ll probably walk right up to you with a wagging tail and ask for some gentle pets. I’m happiest when I’m part of the action, whether that’s relaxing next to you or joining you on a stroll. I’m also a loyal companion who enjoys being the center of my human’s world. I thrive in a one-dog household, where I can soak up all the love and attention just for myself. My easygoing nature and love for people make me a wonderful match for someone looking for a devoted friend.   My Social Life • With People: I adore people and am comfortable being handled, carried, and cuddled.• With Other Dogs: I prefer to be the only dog in the home so I can enjoy all the attention and affection.• With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel.   On My Walks Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I walk beautifully on a leash without pulling, though I do love to pause for a good sniff here and there. There’s just so much to explore! I enjoy a nice, steady pace and appreciate having time to take in the world around me.   Life at Home ♥ I’m a quiet housemate who rarely barks and generally does my business outdoors. I’m well-mannered at mealtime and comfortable relaxing in a safe, calm space. I appreciate companionship and do best when I can spend plenty of time with my people. I’m little afraid of being alone specially in small places. I’m learning how to adjust well when I am alone and practicing with routines that help me feel secure when alone.   My Ideal Home I’d be happiest with a loving person or family who enjoys a calm, steady companion. I’d do wonderfully with adopters who understand that I value closeness and enjoy being someone’s loyal sidekick. Seniors or families looking for a gentle, well-mannered friend might find me to be the perfect match. After all I’ve been through, I’m ready to spend my days bringing warmth, loyalty, and joy to my forever home. I’ve got a heart full of love and can’t wait to share it every single day.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!   Ilkong's YouTube Playlist   ##2494045##

Story
ADOPT DORA!  10-year-old Beagle beauty looking for a cozy forever home  Dora is a gentle, curious soul who loves leisurely walks, car naps, and belly rubs. She’s shy at first, but once she knows you, you’ll have a snuggle buddy for life!   Housetrained & crate-trained  Great in the car (needs a little boost!)  Good with respectful kids  Selective with dogs, no cats  Low to medium energy  Up-to-date on vet care  Professional tail-wagger & treat-taster  She’s the perfect companion for a quiet home — ideal for a retired person or couple who can offer love, patience, and a warm bed (or couch!).  Bonus: She may howl when she’s excited to see you. Classic Beagle charm.   Currently in foster care and waiting to meet you. Interested in meeting Dora? Send us a message or fill out an adoption application today!   Name : Dora Breed: Beagle  Weight: 15 Kg/33 lbs Gender: Female Spayed/neutered: Spayed  Age: 10 years    Reason for Intake:Owner surrender  Up to Date with Vetting: Yes Good with dogs: She is reactive to other dogs, and will bark at them. It can also be a hit and miss as some dogs she just ignores, and some she dislikes and will react to. Good with cats: No she will chase them Good with kids: She is good with kids as long as they are respectful to her Good with strangers: When strangers visit she is a bit timid but will go up to them wanting pets. She likes when we have human visitors.   Resource guarding issues: Not from people, she probably would with dogs Ever bitten a human: No Ever bitten a dog: not since being in foster care Fears: She is timid and jumps at loud sounds or loud voices, she needs a bit of time to become comfortable with new places and people.  Housetrained: Yes.  Her foster has now started taking her for a large walk in morning which she loves and is good  to walk on leash as with any Beagle she walks with her nose to the ground looking for scents. She goes for 2 sometimes 3 big walks in a day. She will startle at new sounds . Crate trained: Yes,  she has been crated and willingly goes into crate, but with foster she is not crated but does sleep in the crate at night beside fosters bed with crate door open, she is left alone for 4 hours some days and with no damage or accidents.  Good in the car: Excellent in the car lays down in the back seat and falls asleep. Has a little problem getting in but will try and jump up and out in the Fosters car but it is a bit high, so she will need a bit of assistance.   Bark when left alone: She will bark/howl for about 5 minutes when foster leaves for work, but settles after that. Destructive: No Energy Level: Low to medium, she loves to walk and see new things, it’s not at break speed but a nice leisurely walk, and she would love going trail walking with more things to see and smell.  Leash skills: She walks well on leash and  foster walks her on a loose leash most of the time. However if a scent appears she likes, she will pull  to follow it.  Okay with physical handling/manipulations: Foster has brushed her, cleaned her teeth, you can touch her feet and ears with no problem.   Known commands: Have not found any she knows yet.  Food on now:Royal Canin Gastrointestinal for now both canned and kibble.  Behavioural issues: She is timid and needs a bit of time to  warm up to new people places and things. As far as we know, she was used for hunting and not familiar to the house.  She is coming around and becoming more familiar to the sights and sounds in a house such as the TV, fridge, she will bolt when encountering new things that frighten her. She is frightened if you raise your arms too quickly but is slowly coming around to knowing that with her foster it is nothing to be frightened off.  Medical issues: At her last V et check up her heart was fine, her eyes are a bit cloudy,  and it was stated she was in good condition for an older lady.  Foster: She is the perfect companion for a retired couple or a single person who is not overly active but still wants to get out for a bit. She will bark to alert you if she thinks there is someone in her house that she doesn’t know. She loves to be near you and will follow you everywhere, she gets so excited to welcome you home that she sometimes breaks out into a howl which is very much "Beagle-like".  She loves to be petted and will often come over and lick your hands to get you to pet her, then will flip onto her back to have a belly rub. She is a sweet heart who just wants to feel loved and she deserves to be pampered the rest of her life. September 18, 2025, 10:59 am
