Story
Lucy | 44 lbs | 6 years old | Dog-Friendly | GTA Lucy is a joyful and loving dog. She's sweet and snuggly. She loves to meet new people, get along well with other dogs, and is very polite on leash. Lucy has had one eye removed and has a significant vision impairment in the remaining eye. While she can see a very little bit now, she will likely lose all vision over time. This obstacle only reveals Lucy's incredible spirit. She is brave enough to try everything that any other dog likes to do. She's constantly learning and building confidence. One amazing thing about Lucy is how smart and patient she is when learning something new: if she doesn't get things right the first time she tries again, or strategizes a new way to do it. Lucy needs adopters who are similarly patient and resourceful! She craves adventures like any dog and loves to be outdoors. Lucy has a lovely relaxed energy. She's a deep sleeper, and doesn't require tons of daily exercise--one big walk a day usually does it! She needs a home with a fenced yard, as she loves to spend time outside. She'd do great as a second or third dog or as a solo dog, as long as she was with someone who was home quite a bit. She likes the security and companionship of canine or human company. Lucy came from difficult circumstances and it's beautiful to see her start to experience a new kind of life. She does a little happy dance and bark to show she is feeling excited and thankful about her fresh start! Any family would be lucky to get to introduce her to new comforts of living in a home, new adventures to try, and new people to befriend. Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Mohun Age: Born July 23rd 2025 (Around 5 months old) Gender: Male (Neutering scheduled) Breed: Beagle dachshund mix Color: White & Black Weight: 5.48kg / 12lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mom was neglected for a long time, yet she still brought me and my siblings into the world. She gave birth to seven puppies, including me, and thankfully, kind rescuers found us and took us in. Now, I’m looking for my forever family!   MY HEALTH Healthy with no known health issues Neutering scheduled   MY PERSONALITY Photos and videos don’t quite capture just how cute I am in person! I’m an affectionate boy who enjoys the company of both people and dog friends. The volunteers and staff often say I have a calm, chill personality, but don’t be fooled — I have a big affectionate side that I love sharing with my caretakers at the facility. Once you get to know me, you’ll see just how special I am.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a bit reserved when we first meet, but with a little patience, my sweet and loving nature quickly shines through. I’ll approach you calmly to say hello in my own quiet way. While I prefer not to be petted right away, I’ll gently accept treats from your hand, and before long, I start to relax and show my affectionate side. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I’m also happy to be picked up and enjoy being close. During my profile photoshoot, I happily cuddled and relaxed into a staff member’s arms and enjoyed the affection.  With Dogs: I’m very friendly with other dogs and love meeting new dog friends. I tend to do best with dogs close to my size, and having dog friends gives me a sense of comfort and confidence. Being around other dogs helps me feel safe, relaxed, and happy as I explore the world. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m just as happy to snuggle up indoors afterward.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash-walking skills and gaining confidence each day. Loud noises or sudden movements can startle me, and when that happens I may freeze and lie flat on the ground, so I’ll need continued, patient guidance to help me walk more confidently. I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs. I prefer to potty outdoors and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I may bark at times to get attention or when meeting new people.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that understands I’m still a young pup and is patient with me throughout and continue to provide me with basic training and socialization. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever. Ideally a home with another dog sibling, but not an absolute requirement.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a Level 3 rescue dog, which means it may take me about a week to fully settle into a new home. During this time, patience and consistency will help me feel safe and secure. On walks, I can get scared and may try to slip out of my harness, so for my safety I must always be double-leashed with a harness and collar, and wear a GPS tracker when outside. With gentle guidance, love, and the right precautions, I’ll gain confidence and continue to thrive. I’m still a young pup with so much potential and so much love to give.   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2610011##

Story
Currently in a Seattle foster home Meet Haram, a 7-year-old, 15kg male Beagle mix with a wonderful blend of Beagle and Labrador Retriever. He’s the perfect mix of lively energy and gentle calmness—an absolutely charming companion. Haram spent a long time in a shelter, even finding himself on the euthanasia list at one point. But by some miracle, he was rescued and given a second chance at life. Even after all those years in the shelter, Haram never lost his warmth toward people. He loves human touch, and when you approach him, he’ll gently make eye contact with you, wagging his tail in the sweetest way. It’s impossible not to fall for him. His personality is incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and is never aggressive, even when playing. He loves being social and interacting with everyone around him. When meeting new people, he opens his heart quickly, rolling over to show his belly in a playful request for some belly rubs. Haram is also a fantastic walking buddy. True to his Beagle nature, he’s curious and loves exploring, but as he’s gotten older, he’s calmed down quite a bit. After a good walk, he’ll lie down quietly, resting contentedly by your side. He genuinely enjoys the time spent walking with his family and can’t wait for those daily strolls. Because of his long shelter life, Haram doesn’t have much experience living in a home, so he might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. He might make a few mistakes at first, especially with house training, but he’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. With patience and love from his family, he’ll soon adapt to a steady routine and household rules. Haram is not just a “survivor”—he’s a dog ready to give and receive love. His eyes tell the story of trust, of wanting to live and share life with someone who will care for him. Now, what he needs most is a forever family who will fill his remaining years with warmth, joy, and laughter. Haram is waiting for that special family to take his paw and make his final journey a beautiful one.

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Moram Age: 5 months Gender: Male (Neutering Scheduled) Breed: Beagle-Dachshund Mix Color: White & Black Weight: 6.9kg / 15.2lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mom was abandoned for a long time and was going through repeated pregnancies. Thankfully, my siblings and I were rescued by caring people and have been given a second chance at life. I am still learning about this world, unfamiliar and a bit nervous, but I am excited to start a new chapter of my life and find my forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, my name is MORAM and I am a strong-willed, young boy with a big heart! I love snacks and toys, especially the squeaking ones! I am curious to learn about new things! I enjoy playing with other dogs and I am curious about people too, but I may take a tiny bit of time to open up. I am still a very young puppy, and there is a lot I don’t know, so I will need your help to learn basic manners and to take walks. With your love, care and patience, I have the potential to grow to be an amazing companion!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can take some time to open up, as I am bit shy, but I do enjoy eating snacks! I have yet had any experience meeting children under the age of 13, but I can be held by supporting my belly and hugging me securely. · With Dogs: I am very friendly! I like to say hi and play with dog friends and with dogs that I don’t know! I enjoy the companion of friends of my size and I am more relaxed and calmer when I am with them. · With Cats: I haven’t met cat friends yet, but a cat test can be scheduled upon request!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I also love snuggling inside afterwards! I haven’t taken too many walks yet, so there may be times when I lay down on the ground if I am scared. I will need more training to be comfortable with walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from other dogs or people, but I may, at times, bark when I want something. I may also bark when I meet unfamiliar people, but I am calm when placed in a kennel. I need training in basic manners and taking walks. I usually like to potty outside but with training, I can learn to potty inside as well!   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home would be with a family who understands that I am a young rescue puppy and can support me with love, gentle guidance, patience, and consistent training. I would do best in a calm environment where introductions to new dogs are made thoughtfully. A home with a dog friend of my size would be a great match for me, as I feel more supported and relaxed. A family that enjoys outdoor activities but also enjoys a cozy home would be perfect for me.   SPECIAL NOTES To my future family, I am considered a level 3 rescue dog – I am energetic and playful but can take time to adjust to the new environment. I love treats and toys and am curious about people! There is still so much that I don’t know so I can be scared at times but with your love, warmth, patience and training, I will be your forever friend and family.   Moram's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2609457##
