I’m one of 11 Beagle mix babies born 4/11/25.   Here’s our story:   Our mom “Tula” and us ELEVEN babies, came to Molly’s Place all the way from Kentucky.   Our mom was abandoned at a trailer park where no one wanted her.  People were not kind to her.  Mom was chased, denied food, water, shelter and shot at.  Yes, that’s right, shot.  Now she has a big scar on her side and is blind in one eye.  A kind elderly lady tried her best to care for our mom, but she didn’t have the money to get her spayed, so of course …she ended up pregnant.   LUCKILY, mom was rescued and moved to a foster home where she safely delivered 13 babies (sadly 2 didn’t make it).     Molly’s Place was contacted and now here we are, safe & cozy where we get food, water, toys, soft comfy bedding and treats EVERY DAY.     Life is great, but now I’m ready for a home of my very own.     To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roscoe came to us from a beagle breeder who reached out to some rescues to see if anyone could help rehome him as they were in over their head with dogs.  So, we welcomed Roscoe to the rescue at the end of April.Roscoe is an AKC registered beagle. He was born on 2/21/2023 and is a smaller beagle weighing in at 26 lbs.Roscoe is a very sweet dog with a LOT of personality!!  His foster mom describes him as a free spirit and makes her laugh everyday!  He was indoor as a puppy, but then shifted outside with the other beagles and is relearning being an indoor dog.   Now that we have had him for 5 weeks, he has really settled in and doing great inside!  We have learned that he absolutely hates the crate and being contained (probably because he was constantly keep in an outdoor kennel). Fortunately, he seems to be pretty well house trained and behaves in the house.  Being that he just turned 2, he can still do some chewing, but responds to correction and stops.  He gets along great with the house dog and would love having another dog his size to play with!  His original owner had children and Roscoe was socialized well with them, so he is great with kids :).  We would recommend no cats.  He goes pretty bonkers when he sees the neighbor cat and although he may not intentionally hurt one, we are pretty confident he would drive one nuts.  Roscoe rides well in the car and LOVES walks, but he does need some work on his walking.  He is your typical beagle that has to smell everything and see everyone and 'talk' to the other dogs he sees...lol.  He is still rather puppyish and energetic, so we would recommend a person, couple or family that will keep him well exercised!  Roscoe is learning what being loved on is all about.  He is a very sweet and social boy, but is still not a cuddler.  He just started learning shake paw with his foster family.  We know he is going to be a great dog for a lucky family!!Roscoe is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/hw  prevention.  His adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 2, 2025, 9:20 am
