Story

Meet Coop, a teenage beagle/dachshund mix with lots of personality and confidence in a little low-rider body. Coop is playful, super friendly and totally unfazed by the fact all his friends are bigger than him. He loves to zoom around the yard and have all his doggy friends chase him. Coop is likely full grown at 8-9 months old and approximately 30 lbs. He has a beagle body and demeanor, and a dachshund face, but he may also have other breeds in the mix. Coop was a stray who spent almost two months at the shelter before his foster mom brought him home. While we don’t know his past, Coop acts as if nothing bad has ever happened to him. He’s a confident little fella who greets every dog and human he meets with lots of love, including kids. He’s super affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Coop is a very well-adjusted boy and would be an easy addition to almost any home. He’s potty trained, crate trained and walks great on a leash. He would do well in an apartment with an active owner who wants to walk him and take him to run around at the dog park. Or he would do great paired with another playful dog at a home with a big fenced-in yard. Coop is energetic, but he is happy to chill after his morning walk or playtime. He’s a really good boy who could easily be taken along for all of life’s adventures! She was found as a stray so we don't know much about her past, but we do know that her future is bright! Holly Dae is sweet as can be. She melts into your lap for affection and love, giving gentle kisses. She has been great meeting all types of new people and easily integrated into her foster home with four dogs of varying sizes and personalities. We have not seen her with kids but based on her gentle demeanor, she'd likely do fine with older children! Holly Dae is looking for a forever home with the time to train her into the best girl she can be. She has begun crate and house training and will need continued practice in her forever home. I’m one of 11 Beagle mix babies born 4/11/25. Here’s our story: Our mom “Tula” and us ELEVEN babies, came to Molly’s Place all the way from Kentucky. Our mom was abandoned at a trailer park where no one wanted her. People were not kind to her. Mom was chased, denied food, water, shelter and shot at. Yes, that’s right, shot. Now she has a big scar on her side and is blind in one eye. A kind elderly lady tried her best to care for our mom, but she didn’t have the money to get her spayed, so of course …she ended up pregnant. LUCKILY, mom was rescued and moved to a foster home where she safely delivered 13 babies (sadly 2 didn’t make it). Molly’s Place was contacted and now here we are, safe & cozy where we get food, water, toys, soft comfy bedding and treats EVERY DAY. Life is great, but now I’m ready for a home of my very own. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following: spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, age appropriate vaccinations, initial dewormings, Activyl for fleas, tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only), bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee. Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis. We can not send extra pictures. WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet. Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.
