We’re working on teaching her that those are not acceptable ways to score a snack—and she’s catching on! Emily is also learning the joys of being a dog. Our resident pup is showing her what toys are and, more importantly, how much fun it is to play fetch!  She is a quick learner and seems eager to figure things out. She does great in her crate overnight and while we’re away at work. She also understands that potty time happens outside, which is a great start! And food? Emily is definitely a chow hound! 😂 Her love of yummy treats should make training a whole lot easier. With some patience, consistency, and tasty rewards, this girl has so much potential. Emily is off to a fantastic start in her foster home, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom! ❤️🐶

He has the personality, charm, goofy playfulness, love of his people, and yes, even the occasional signature beagle yelp. If you know and love beagles, you're going to understand Doug immediately. More than anything, Doug wants to belong. His favorite place is wherever his humans are, and he is perfectly content spending much of his day snoozing beside someone he loves. He is also a champion couch snuggler and, after just a couple of days, warmed up beautifully to the young children in his foster home and began curling up beside them. Doug gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. He would do best living with a laid-back dog who has a personality similar to his own. If another dog is too overwhelming or intense, Doug tends to shrink himself and become less confident. With the right canine companion, we think he will happily settle in and be himself. He's also met cats and shown very little interest in them. Doug doesn't need one particular kind of family.
