She’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash — and she’s a calm, well-behaved passenger in the car, too! Hazel has a naturally shy and cautious personality, especially in new environments or around new people. She's not the kind of dog who will instantly run up for pets — but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate, and deeply loyal companion. Once Hazel feels safe, she’ll stay close, happily following you around or curling up nearby. She has a few endearing quirks — she loves watching TV with total focus and even displays some cat-like behavior, like climbing to high spots to observe her world. She’s great with other dogs and cats and would do best in a calm, stable home where her people understand that she may take time to adjust. These young Beagle mix girls were saved by RT4P friend from a South TX shelter where they had been dumped.
