Izzy is five months old and weighs about 20 lbs. We have tried to determine what her breed mix is, and these are a few guesses. She could be a Doberman Pinscher/Beagle mix, or a Miniature Pinscher/Beagle mix, or a Manchester Terrier mix, or none of the above! Izzy and her sister were dumped outside the Sheriff's office, and then made their way to Humane Tomorrow, so we just aren't sure about her breed mix. We are guessing she may not weigh more than 40 lbs when full grown. We may not know her breed mix, but we do know that Izzy is a fun, energetic, affectionate puppy. She has excellent athletic skills, and would probably excel at agility training, fly ball, frisbee catching, or all of the above! Izzy would also be very happy just running zoomies in the backyard, or going for a walk, or playing with her toys. She can entertain herself by tossing a ball in the air, then running to retrieve it. She gets along and plays with the other dogs in her foster home, but she would be fine as an only dog, as long as she gets enough exercise and play time.. Izzy is also happy and content to hang out with her family. She loves people and cuddling in their lap or curled up beside them. Andi is super sweet 10 years old girl. At her age, she lazes around a lot and loves to curl up with her human. She loves to be with people and makes a good companion. She does have the loud beagle bark when she uses it but is not a constant barker. She has been around cats her whole life. She lost her beagle companion about 2 years ago and is the docile one with other dogs. We have been displaced by damage to our house. My temporary housing situation is requiring me to kennel her overnight and again 10-11 hours while I am gone to work. The temporary situation is probably going to last a year or more. I am also having difficulty caring for her as Inwas widowed in 2024 and my worsening back problems makes it where I can let her in the back yard but not take her on walks. It has also become difficult for me to bend to clean the kennel and take care of her food and water and I worry it may become impossible. Andi could use a loving home that is able to better meet her basic needs.
