She loves cozy couch cuddles, tummy rubs, and chewing on her favorite bones, and she’s always happy to join you for a walk or playtime with other dogs. She can be a little shy at first and does best with slow, gentle introductions—loud noises can startle her—but with patience, her loving personality really shines.#2

**I am currently available for adoption from a foster home. If you are interested in meeting me, please call the shelter to set up a time!Intake Reason: Transfer from Ridgeland FarmsWeight: 13.0 lbs Known with: ·Dogs: Good with 7 and 11 year old females ·Kids: Unknown ·Cats: UnknownBernadine is very sweet-natured, snuggly, and has learned to be playful. She is initially anxious and very spatially aware of people, particularly indoors, as she wants to avoid being trapped. Her forever family will need to have time and patience to let her gain trust and navigate the world -- but once she gets comfortable, she is smart and has a little independent streak (she`s finicky about wet grass and discovered she likes to drag toys and errant socks around). She loves being outdoors, especially with other dogs, and laying in the sun on patio furniture is a favorite pastime. She bonds to her people and becomes a little shadow.#2

Story
Esther is a 25 lb, ~2-year-old independent, easygoing dog who keeps herself entertained and doesn’t need constant attention to thrive. Great with dogs of all sizes, has been around cats, and loves water. She’s a fun, low-maintenance companion for someone who appreciates a more self-sufficient dog. Esther is affectionate on her terms and happiest in a home that enjoys companionship without needing a constant shadow. Story
Marigold is fostered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Marigold is a very happy, loving, curious girl. After a few days of sizing up her new life, Marigold started to take in the world around her. She wants to be near her people and is learning the joys of snuggling up on the couch. Marigold has the softest ears and squishiest face, and she loves the attention. As each day passes and she settles in, she becomes more generous with kisses. Marigold isn't wasting anytime making up for the simple pleasures she missed out on before. She is curious about everyone and everything. She knows the neighbors give treats, enjoys a carrying around a good toy, and loves to sit on a comfy bed and enjoy a bully stick. Best of all, Marigold likes to smell flowers. She's going love exploring the yard in summer! Marigold also loves dogs. She iniates play with her foster siblings with the happiest play bow. She would really love siblings in her forever home. Marigold keeps her crate clean and potties outside. She needs time outside to get it done, but that gets better everyday. She is learning the leash and just like everything else she's mastered, it won't be long until she's excited to see a leash and go for a walk. There's a big world and many flowers to be sniffed out there! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Story
Fern is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. This beautiful adult female beagle was recently welcomed into our foster program. She was vaccinated, microchipped and seen by a vet prior to her release to our rescue, so for her safety, she’ll be kept away from other dogs and outdoor spaces to give their immune systems time to adjust. Each girl is settling into a cozy bed in a loving foster home and that’s a dream come true. Once she receives complete medical care, she’ll be ready for a cozy bed in her forever home. We are accepting applications at this time, but not providing a timeline for adoption. Patience is her #1 need. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com.
