Leo, male, 1 yr old Beagle mix, 28 lbs. Leo is a handsome young Beagle who came to us from Arkansas after spending the first year of his life living in a backyard kennel. Despite that rough start, this boy’s spirit is still bright — his tail is always wagging, and he is so ready to feel loved. Leo is wonderful with other dogs and will require a confident dog companion in his forever home. Having another dog by his side helps him build confidence as he learns about the world for the first time. Once he warms up — and he warms up quickly — Leo becomes your loyal shadow and lifelong friend. He is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly eager to bond with his people and he loves children. He just needs a patient adopter who will give him a little time to trust. Leo appears to be housebroken and crate trained, and he’s catching on fast with his leash manners. He is doing beautifully in his foster home and continues to blossom every day. Because of his background, Leo will need a secure fenced‑in yard where he can safely explore and gain confidence at his own pace. This lovable boy deserves a family who will show him what it means to be cherished. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who will adore you forever, Leo may be your perfect match.    We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Story
This sweet little bundle of joy is approximately 9 weeks old and 5 lbs of pure personality. Ana may be tiny, but her spirit is BIG! She’s spunky, feisty, snuggly, playful, and incredibly smart. This clever girl is making great progress with potty training – she understands to go when she’s outside but hasn’t quite figured out how to ask to go out yet. Patience and encouragement will help her master this in no time. Ana is a total cuddle bug and a classic velcro dog – always wanting to be near her people. She sleeps well through the night and plays nicely with other dogs. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash but is giving it her all. And when she’s not getting her way? You might hear a little sassy bark! Ana will likely grow into a medium-sized dog with a big heart and even bigger personality. She would thrive in an active, loving home with patient humans who are excited to continue her training, play with her, and snuggle her close. If you’re looking for a fun, adaptable, and endlessly entertaining pup to join your family, Ana might just be your perfect match! Transport is an additional $185. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Marigold is fostered in Milwaukee. Marigold is a very happy, loving, curious girl. After a few days of sizing up her new life, Marigold started to take in the world around her. She wants to be near her people and is learning the joys of snuggling up on the couch. Marigold has the softest ears and squishiest face, and she loves the attention. As each day passes and she settles in, she becomes more generous with kisses. Marigold isn't wasting anytime making up for the simple pleasures she missed out on before. She is curious about everyone and everything. She knows the neighbors give treats, enjoys a carrying around a good toy, and loves to sit on a comfy bed and enjoy a bully stick. Best of all, Marigold likes to smell flowers. She's going love exploring the yard in summer! Marigold also loves dogs. She iniates play with her foster siblings with the happiest play bow. She would really love siblings in her forever home. Marigold keeps her crate clean and potties outside. She needs time outside to get it done, but that gets better everyday. She is learning the leash and just like everything else she's mastered, it won't be long until she's excited to see a leash and go for a walk. There's a big world and many flowers to be sniffed out there! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Story
Oak is being fostered in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, with two other Ridglan beagles. Oak was released from Ridglan and transferred to a shelter. When he wasn’t thriving there, he was transferred to our program. Oak is a very sensitive boy who is petite in frame. Though he is very shy, he melts into your arms when you hold him. He wants to love and trust and just needs someone okay with the process that will take. A confident canine friend and a fenced yard will be best for his journey. In his foster home, Oak is exploring the fenced yard on a leash. Oak has taken to exploring on a leash with gusto! He just lives to smell and check out everything! Interested in adoption? Story
Fern is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. This beautiful adult female beagle was recently welcomed into our foster program. She was vaccinated, microchipped and seen by a vet prior to her release to our rescue, so for her safety, she’ll be kept away from other dogs and outdoor spaces to give their immune systems time to adjust. Each girl is settling into a cozy bed in a loving foster home and that’s a dream come true. Once she receives complete medical care, she’ll be ready for a cozy bed in her forever home. We are accepting applications at this time, but not providing a timeline for adoption. Patience is her #1 need. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com.
