Story
Rico is a handsome black and brown Shepherd mix, born on 1-30-22, and weighs 55lbs. Rico was hit by a car when he was just 6 months old and his elbow was broken. He is now fully recovered with just a minor limp and ready to find his forever family. Rico has big expressive rabbit ears. He is very intelligent and already knows many basic commands, is crate trained, and house trained. He has been professionally trained and comes with lifetime refresher lessons for himself and his adopter. Rico is a high energy boy who loves to play and run around his fenced yard. He is dog friendly and would love a forever home that has another high energy playful pup. Rico is looking for an active family with a fenced yard, and no small kids. He is a wonderful passenger in the car, so a family that will take him on fun adventures is a bonus. He needs someone who will maintain his training and invest time in him. Rico is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Rico, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet boy, please submit an application for him at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 24, 2024, 8:40 pm

Story
When I first met Moochie at the shelter, she was curled up in the back of her kennel, shaking, silent, and scared of everything. She wouldnt let anyone near her, and it was clear life hadnt been kind to her. something told me not to walk away. I brought her home and gave her space, time, and patience. Slowly, she came out of her shell first a glance, then a tail wag, then one day she rested her head on my lap. Now, Moochie is the sweetest, most loving dog I know. She follows me everywhere, greets strangers with tail wags, and sleeps peacefully beside me every night. She didnt just learn to trust I think she finally learned what it feels like to be loved. And Im so lucky to be the one to give her that.

Story
Meet Cozy — the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ever ask for. I adopted Cozy from Fulton County Animal Services when he was just a young pup, and from day one, he’s lived up to his name — full of love, snuggles, and an endless desire to please. Cozy is a 15-month-old Belgian Malinois, with a heart as big as his energy. He’s playful, incredibly smart, and thrives in an environment where he can bond deeply with his person. Unfortunately, our other dog has a very dominant personality, and despite Cozy’s best efforts, they haven’t been able to co-exist peacefully. It’s not fair to him — he deserves a home where he can truly embrace his full potential, without fear or tension. This boy is gentle, goofy, eager to learn, and incredibly affectionate. He loves belly rubs, treats, and following you around the house like your shadow. He’s a great candidate for someone who’s active, experienced with smart working breeds, or just ready to give their whole heart to a dog that will love yo

Story
Mocha is a loving mature malinois.  She is fully grown at just under 70 pounds and she is ready to relax.  Mocha enjoys laying around the house and following her humans from room to room.  She would do exceptionally well in a home where her owner works from home and could spend lots of tine with her.  Mocha is currently in a foster home working on learning to love her crate for safety and basic commands.  While this girl is of mature age, she has not yet mastered "sit" on command.  Surprisingly, as a working dog, she doesn't really like to work. She is house trained and loves other people.  Shows no reaction to most other dogs, but seems to prefer to be by herself but will play with the other dogs in her home.   Mocha seems to defy the typical malinois energy and prefers lounging around to work and play. ##2285662##

Story
Hi, I`m Ferendi! I`m a lovable, ball-obsessed guy with a heart full of affection and a tail that curls just right. My absolute favorite thing in the whole world is playing fetch—I’ve got a serious drive for the ball, and I’ll even dribble it right to your feet with my nose like a pro. If you throw the ball, you`re instantly my hero!I`m somewhat active—not over the top, but I do need a good amount of playtime, especially if there’s a fenced yard involved. I’m also a cuddler at heart and love to snuggle with my favorite humans, big and small. I live with a 7-year-old in my foster home and I think kids are awesome. When it comes to meeting new people, I`m excited and interested, and I love making new friends. Around other animals, I’m a work in progress. I’m learning to be calmer on leash around dogs, but for now, I’d do best as the only pet. With time, training, and confidence, that could definitely change.I’ve got some cool guardian instincts, so I’ll give a loud bark to protect my home, but outside of it, I’m all friendly vibes. Loud trucks, bikes, motorcycles, even thunderstorms? None of that stuff bothers me. I’m crate trained, ride like a champ in the car, and I don’t mind bath time either.I already know basic commands and love learning new things—I’m super smart and eager to please. I might really enjoy enrichment activities like agility or nosework too!My ideal home would be one with a yard to chase my beloved ball, and a family who wants to keep building on my training and having fun with me. If you love the brains and loyalty of a working or guardian breed, but want a more easygoing version—I might just be your perfect match.I`m ready to be someone`s best friend for life. Could that be you?

Story
Meet Amber – A Brave Soul Ready to Belong My name is Amber, and while I may not be able to share my whole story, my eyes hold the truth. I once had a family I loved deeply, and losing them was hard on my heart. But with the love and care I’m now receiving from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and my amazing foster family, I’m starting to feel safe again and even wag my tail a little more each day. Right now, I’m focused on healing, gaining back a healthy weight, rediscovering joy, and remembering what it feels like to be cherished. I’m a true, young German Shepherd: deeply loyal, incredibly smart, and beautifully tuned in to the humans around me. I’m quiet in the house, find comfort in my crate, and I’m fully potty trained. I’ll gently let you know when I need to go out. I’m learning that squeaky toys, bones, and chasing sticks are actually super fun! I love listening when you talk, I tilt my head and soak in every word (and maybe I even understand them). I enjoy watching TV with you and staying close throughout the day. Whether we’re playing outside, relaxing on the couch, or simply sharing quiet moments, I’ll be right there, your loyal, loving sidekick. I’m working on my leash manners (I don’t pull, but sometimes I get nervous), and I’m learning how to be more relaxed around other dogs. I already know how to sit, stay, and shake and I’m eager to learn more if you’ll teach me with love and patience. I’m spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, and so ready to begin the next chapter of my life with you. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep and lifelong that bond can be. I’m ready to start that story with a family that gets me, maybe that’s you.  Adopt me and help me find my forever home.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Hi, I'm Tanne – “A Little Seedling Ready to Bloom”My name means “fir tree” in German, and just like a tree, I’m growing fast and full of potential. I’m a curious, cuddly pup who’s learning all about this big world—chasing leaves, sniffing every corner, and figuring out which toys squeak and which ones just bounce. I’m also working on crate training (getting better each day!), and I’m eager to learn everything a good pup should know. If you’ve got patience, love, and a soft spot for floppy-eared shepherds, I’d love to grow up by your side.
