Story
Meet Sasha 💛 Sasha’s story didn’t start the way it should have. This beautiful Malinois mix puppy was found dumped behind a Publix — but that chapter is closed. Now, her story is about structure, second chances, and becoming the incredible dog she’s meant to be. Sasha is currently completing professional, breed-specific training with a trainer who specializes in Malinois and shepherd breeds. She’s learning foundational obedience, impulse control, confidence building, and proper socialization — because dogs like Sasha thrive with guidance and purpose. About Sasha: • Incredibly smart and eager to learn • Athletic, driven, and loves having a “job” • Loyal and people-focused • Thrives with structure and consistency As a Malinois mix, Sasha will do best in an active, experienced home that understands working breeds. She is not a couch potato — she’s a partner. Whether it’s hiking, training sessions, enrichment work, or continued obedience, she’ll shine with someone committed to keeping her mind and body engaged. Sasha is looking for: • A structured, active household • Preferably breed-experienced adopters • A home committed to continued training • Someone ready to invest in her long-term success She wasn’t given the right start — but she’s getting the right foundation now. With the proper leadership and love, Sasha is going to be an extraordinary companion. If you’re ready for a smart, driven, loyal girl who will give you her whole heart, Sasha is ready to meet you. 🐾

Story
Major Mally is an all-around amazing boy! Smart is an understatement; he is very easy to train and likes to please! He knows heel (leash walking), a stop command, off, touch, sit, and down. Major is reported to be house-trained and to have previously lived with other dogs with no issue. He is playful and funny with children, but at 80 pounds, he can knock little ones over just because he's not aware of his size. Major would thrive with an active person/family. He is the perfect running/walking partner & playmate. He would excel at agility, dock diving, etc, as he is so smart & eager to please, but not hyper like a purebred Belgian Shepherd. The best of both worlds! Major is 3 years old & 80lbs. If you'd like to find out more about making this gorgeous pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted. *The breed mixes listed are an educated guess, based on both temperament and appearance*

Story
Ripper comes from a breeder in Australia (Nordenstamm Malinois). Due to physical limitations of the owner and lack of a fenced yard he is no longer able to get the physical exercise he needs. Ripper does great with young children (currently 4 children in the home) but is not friendly with other pets. He has good general obedience and e-collar training. He is not food aggressive.

Story
Meet Dude – Your Loyal, Energetic Best Friend! Dude is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois mix weighing about 65 pounds, and he is more than ready to finally find the loving home he’s been waiting for. This handsome boy is bright, strong, and incredibly loyal—everything you’d expect from a Malinois mix. Dude is housebroken and loves spending his days doing his two favorite things: going for car rides and playing in the yard. Whether you’re running errands, taking a weekend road trip, or enjoying a sunny afternoon outside, Dude is the perfect companion. He thrives on activity and would do best with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. While Dude is a wonderful dog, the crate is not his favorite place—he much prefers being near his people. After waiting far too long for a family to call his own, he’s hoping someone out there will finally give him the chance he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and loving dog who will stick by your side through everything, Dude is your guy.

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Clyde is a sweet Belgian Malinois who, unfortunately, was recently hit by a car. As a result, he had his front left leg amputated and will be a Special Needs “Tripod” for the rest of his life. The good news is that nobody told Clyde this and, as far as he’s concerned, he will happily live out his life walking, running, jumping, playing, and wrestling just like all of the other dogs. He is smart, curious, and extremely affectionate with people and other dogs-he loves his “Snuggle Time”. Clyde is crate trained and will happily sleep through the night with no accidents. He knows some basic commands, but his new owner will need to continue his training. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a multi-dog household where he can socialize to his heart’s content. His ideal owner will need to be very cognizant of his overall joint health and work to ensure that his remaining front leg remains healthy for years to come. At this time, he has not been cat tested. Clyde currently weighs about 44lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 11/07/2024), and his adoption fee is $315. Clyde has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Clyde, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Isabell 💛 At just one year old, Isabell is a beautiful shepherd mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. Weighing in at 57 lbs (and still needing to gain a little more), she’s had a rough start after being found as a stray and brought into a shelter, but you’d never know it from her sweet, gentle spirit. Isabell is currently thriving in her foster home, where she lives happily with both dogs and cats. She gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets and has proven to be incredibly loving, easygoing, and affectionate. Whether she’s quietly soaking up attention or just happy to be near her people, Isabell’s kind nature really shines through. Despite whatever she’s been through, Isabell is all heart. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to love and be loved—and she’ll make an incredibly loyal companion for a lucky family. She’s still working on gaining some healthy weight, but with good care and a loving home, she’s well on her way to becoming her best, happiest self. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, dog- and cat-friendly companion, Isabell might just be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Isabell here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog

Story
Meet Smokey! 🐾 Smokey is a handsome 4½-year-old neutered male German Shepherd who is ready to find his forever home. With his classic good looks and loyal personality, he’s the total package for someone looking for a devoted companion. Smokey is heartworm negative, housebroken, and well-mannered in the home. He walks nicely on a leash and knows several commands including sit, stay, down, and “load up,” making him an easy addition to a family who appreciates a dog with a solid foundation. This sweet boy gets along great with other dogs, does well with children, and has even been around chickens without issue! (Cats, however, are not his thing.) Smokey has a playful side and enjoys a good game with a ball or chewing on a stick, but he’s not destructive and settles well. He’s also quite the talker; Smokey loves to “chat” with his people and will happily keep you company with his affectionate and expressive personality. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who will be your shadow and best friend, Smokey could be your perfect match. Smokey also comes with AKC registration papers that were never submitted, offering an added bonus for his future family. If you’re ready to welcome a smart, loving, and devoted companion into your life, Smokey is waiting to meet you! Apply to adopt Smokey here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog
