Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          March 7, 2026, 7:49 pm

Meet Marley – A Loyal Heart Looking for a Confident Leader! Marley is a beautiful shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to please the people she trusts. She’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and gets along with other dogs and older children. True to her breed, Marley is intelligent, observant, and eager to learn — she just needs the right person to help her shine. Marley can be a little unsure in new situations and is sensitive to loud noises, so she’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment with someone experienced with shepherds or confident handling large breeds. She thrives on structure, enrichment, and gentle leadership that helps her build trust and confidence. Marley loves her meals but can be a bit protective of her food, so a family that understands boundaries and positive training will help her feel secure. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the joy of watching her blossom into her best self. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will give her whole heart once she feels safe, Marley may just be the perfect match. Please note, we receive a large number of applications. Story
Meet Tommy, a handsome 2-year-old, tri-colored German Shepherd mix who was rescued at the very last minute from a crowded county shelter. Initially described as shy and timid, Tommy simply needs some self-confidence. Tommy is very smart and eager to please.. While he can be a little unsure at first, he is quickly learning that life can be full of love, kindness, and fun. Each day, he grows braver--wagging his tail more freely, discovering toys, and learning to be confident. He is dog-friendly and would thrive best in a home with another confident dog who can guide him and show him the ropes. Tommy is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps soundly through the night. Although the crate is not his favorite place, he settles quietly after a few minutes and is content once he feels safe. According to his trainers, Tommy is calm and confident on leash, non-reactive to people during walks, and loves interacting with other dogs. He is playful, learns from other dogs, and is steadily building confidence while mastering his manners. Although he tends to be a little timid and is not treat-motivated, he is making great progress. He would be happiest with a family that has a strong leader who will continue his training and build his confidence with patience and affection. A fenced yard would be wonderful for him to play and explore, but what he truly wants is a doggy sibling that can teach him to be the best dog he can be. Tommy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is ready to find his forever family. With love and care, this shy boy will blossom into a devoted companion. For more information about this wonderful boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to foster Tommy go to www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

HI, I&#39M NATHANIEL. I LOVE KIDS AND OTHER DOGS. IF YOU&#39D LIKE TO MEEY ME, PLEASE INQUIRE AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG OR FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Nathaniel is an adorable, affectionate Shepherd mix who is 4 years old and weighs 57 lbs. Nathaniel has been through training, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He is a bit shy & timid from his extended time in boarding, but prior to his stay in boarding, he was a happy, playful, loyal dog who loved being with his people and doing zoomies through his house & yard. He has medium energy and is gentle when taking treats from your hand. He&#39s looking for a person who will help him build confidence so a home without other dogs or with submissive female dog(s) would be ideal. Nathaniel is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped. Story
HI, I&#39M WELLS. I&#39M AN ADORABLE PUPPY, WHO LOVES KIDS, DOGS, AND EVEN CATS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADOPT ME, PLEASE APPLY AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATIONS OR INQUIRE AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet adoptable boy - Wells! This precious pup was saved from horrific conditions in Rome, GA - inadequate shelter in freezing temps, no food, and frozen water. Wells and his 8 other siblings were taken in by different rescues. Although he had a rough start to his life, Wells is finally learning how to trust. The company of his littermate, Finn, helps him feel confident, and he would benefit from another friendly and confident pup in his forever home. Once this sweetheart gets to know you, he is your best friend! He was born in November 2025, and is a Red Heeler/White Shepherd mix. He currently weighs ~10lbs, but will likely mature to be a medium sized dog weighing around 50lbs. Wells has an adorable pink nose, matching pink paw pads, and a sweet star right on his forehead. Like any young puppy, Wells is full of energy and loves to run and play! He is good with other dogs, and will need ongoing socialization with new people as he matures. Wells is puppy pad trained, and is slowly learning the ropes of crate training and potty training in his foster home. He would love a forever family that will provide him basic obedience training, and understands puppy antics! BarkVille Dog Rescue will provide Wells with his remaining vaccinations, microchip, and neuter prior to an adoption being finalized. If you&#39re interested in adopting this special boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
