Louis is a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois with a loving personality, a resilient spirit, and years of faithful companionship to give. He is housebroken, well-mannered, and responds to basic commands, making him an easy and enjoyable companion in the home. Several years ago, Louis lost a leg after an accident while chasing a deer. Like the determined dog he is, he adapted beautifully and has continued to live a happy, active life. However, as he enters his senior years, the physical demands of his current home have become more challenging. The hardwood floors and multiple stairs are no longer the safest or most comfortable environment for him. Because Louis's comfort and quality of life are our top priority, we are seeking a new home that can better accommodate his needs. An ideal home would have limited stairs, secure footing, and a family willing to provide the love and care he deserves. Louis is a loyal companion who enjoys being with his people and has the intelligence and trainability

Major Mally is an all-around amazing boy! Smart is an understatement; he is very easy to train and likes to please! He knows heel (leash walking), a stop command, off, touch, sit, and down. Major is reported to be house-trained and to have previously lived with other dogs with no issue. He is playful and funny with children, but at 80 pounds, he can knock little ones over just because he's not aware of his size. Major would thrive with an active person/family. He is the perfect running/walking partner & playmate. He would excel at agility, dock diving, etc, as he is so smart & eager to please, but not hyper like a purebred Belgian Shepherd. The best of both worlds! Major is 3 years old & 80lbs. Meet Tommy, a handsome 2-year-old, tri-colored German Shepherd mix who was rescued at the very last minute from a crowded county shelter. Initially described as shy and timid, Tommy simply needs some self-confidence. Tommy is very smart and eager to please.. While he can be a little unsure at first, he is quickly learning that life can be full of love, kindness, and fun. Each day, he grows braver--wagging his tail more freely, discovering toys, and learning to be confident. He is dog-friendly and would thrive best in a home with another confident dog who can guide him and show him the ropes. Tommy is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps soundly through the night. Although the crate is not his favorite place, he settles quietly after a few minutes and is content once he feels safe. According to his trainers, Tommy is calm and confident on leash, non-reactive to people during walks, and loves interacting with other dogs. He is playful, learns from other dogs, and is steadily building confidence while mastering his manners. Although he tends to be a little timid and is not treat-motivated, he is making great progress. He would be happiest with a family that has a strong leader who will continue his training and build his confidence with patience and affection. A fenced yard would be wonderful for him to play and explore, but what he truly wants is a doggy sibling that can teach him to be the best dog he can be.
