Story
Chubbers is the sweetest, most lovable dog. He was born in a liter of 11 puppies of the belgian shepherd malinios on February 14th, 2022. I own both parents and one of his brothers. Since moving to GA late 2022, Chubbers has been full of energy and loving with his parents and brother. Over the last 4-5 months, his alpha dominance has developed and he has been fighting with his father and brother. He does so amazing when he is alone, roaming the back yard alone, playing with just an adult. He is not aggressive at all to humans, but can be timid. He is naturally protective to danger, and very protective of myself and my family. But unfortunately, since he is not neutered, his aggression towards the other males has caused frequent injuries. He will do wonderful in a home where he is the only pet and can be with his owner at all times. Needs lots of exercise, and loves being indoors.

Story
Hi there! I’m Ferendi, and I’m a high-energy, social boy who loves to make new friends – especially with kids! I’m super playful and can keep up with the best of them, but don’t let my big bark fool you; I’m really just excited to meet you! Once I’m out of my run, you’ll see my softer side – I’m a total snuggle bug, and I love getting cozy with my favorite humans. I’m a good eater, and I’ve been working hard on my training. I know some fun commands like sit, lay down, give paw (shake), wait (for a treat), come (after potty time), and I can even balance on my back legs like a little human! I still have some things to work on, and I’d love to take training classes with you to keep learning and bonding. While I’d prefer to be the only dog in your home, I absolutely adore kids of all ages – as long as they’re not too intimidated by my size and energy. If you think I’m the one for you, I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s make some memories together!P.S. I qualify for the Foster First program where you can see if I will be a good fit for your home during a 14-day trial!

Zola is a one and a half Malinois mix. She loves running fast and playing catch, she can be anxious around new dogs but with time will be okay. she is updated on all her shots, just not spayed. I really just want the best for her and she deserves all the attention. I don’t want money for her I just want to replace that with as much love as you can give her

Story
This handsome Belgian Malinois mix is Jackson! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/11, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Jackson is keeping his paws crossed for a new forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Jackson as friendly and easygoing. He is a smart cookie too and already knows several commands including sit, stay, and down. Belgian Malinois are a working breed of dog and he'll need proper physical and mental stimulation. Please ensure you have the time and energy to commit to Jackson before adopting. Jackson is approximately 2 years old and weighs 53 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and neutered; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Jackson tested positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care, he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives treatment. Jackson is waiting patiently in run 835; his ID # is 8066. Story
This stunning lady is Gisele! She arrived at the shelter with her sibling/bestie, Fabio, on 11/15. Fabio has been adopted. They were initially adopted from the shelter in November 2024 when they arrived as lost pets. They have been returned because they were kept outside and kept escaping the fence to find adventure and fun since they were bored. They're quite the dynamic duo, and while they were initially shy in their kennel, they're starting to get used to the loud shelter environment. The volunteers describe them as friendly, fun-loving, attentive, and smart. Someone along the way taught them a few things because they know how to sit, shake, and lay down nicely when asked. They are a working dog breed, so please ensure you have the time and energy to commit to them. They'll need lots of physical and mental stimulation to shine truly! Gisele is approximately 1.5 years old, and she weighs 51 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; she will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Gisele in run 877; her ID # is 6254. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
