Meet Nila ❤️ Nila is a beautiful 9-year-old shepherd mix with the kind of soul only senior dogs seem to have — gentle eyes, quiet loyalty, and a heart that simply wants to be near her people. She’s not looking for chaos or adventures across the world. She’s looking for cozy nights, soft beds, and someone to love through all of life’s little moments. Nila is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. She has wonderful manners, loves cuddles, enjoys calm companionship, and is happiest simply being close to her people. While she still enjoys some playtime, she truly shines in a peaceful environment where she can settle in and just be loved. And her story… it’s one that pulls at your heart. Nila was raised from puppyhood by a family who adored her. Last summer, they passed away, leaving her world turned upside down. She was adopted and given another chance… until tragedy struck again and her adoptive family lost their home in a fire. Through absolutely no fault of her own, Nila found herself back with rescue. Twice, Nila lost everything she knew.
