Hi! This sweet pup name is Rhyot. He is a Belgian Malinois mixed with husky. He is 1 years old. One of his eyes is half blue and half brown. I got him from my aunt who lives in California. He is a pup from her dogs litter and needed to find a home for him. So, I flew down to get him to help her, since she could not find anyone to take him. We have had him since March. But, its more than what we can handle at the moment, so we want to find him a nice family. He has a lot of puppy energy, loves playing outdoors and walks. He is potty trained. He is up to date on all vaccines. He is not yet neutered. We are leaving him being neutered an open option if potential new owners would like him to be neutered or not to be neutered. We can discuss this if interested.

1. Age: 2.5 - 3 2. Fixed: yes 3. Came from house in Sturgis - rescued- at a few months old - caged 24/7 and not being cared for properly 4. 2nd owner was not training. 5. Hazel killed chickens when she was under 1 yrs old 6. Has not bit anyone or including other dogs or cats 7. Hazel is in Training now and knows basic commands - needs help on recall - will not leave during treats 8. Triggers: wild animals to chase - had not caught or killed anything in the past year 8. She is an escape artist - comes back within an hour and will come back with her other dog friends 9. Anxious when left home without other dog companions 10. She does well with other handlers and dog sitters. 11. Goes to dog park in Lake Orion and gets along with all dogs 12. Hazel trains with a group of 20 dogs various sizes. 13. Has a prey drive - training has helped - 14. Her trainer would be able to provide a summary 15. She needs a home with more one on one attention and perhaps a larger area to exercise.

Delta is a 1 year old malinois who loves to run, play with toys, and be with other dogs! She does have a higher prey drive and likes to chase things like squirrels and lizards, so a house without cats or kids is preferred! She's doing great with her foster/trainer and is fantastic with her basic obedience skills! She is also house trained, muzzle trained, crate trained, and potty trained! She enjoys car rides and playing with the other dogs her foster mom brings her around (after slow intros, and she's still a bigger fan of the male dogs)! She is sill cautious with new people and new envirmonments, but once she warms up, she is a little firecracker! Delta would prefer a female handler with no kids. Sheis eager to show her future person all of her amazing skills! The elderly gentleman who adopted me as an 8-week old puppy had to undergo emergency surgery and lost his leg to diabetes, leaving himunable to properly care for me. I was only 10 months old at the time. I am now a 1-year oldstrapping young pup who has known only love and playtime my whole life. I have boundlessenergy and am up for whatever game you have in mind.. tug, fetch, long walks, you name it! Ineed a securely fenced yard as I know no boundaries (having been raised on 25 acres and loveto chase the wildlife, i.e., critters, deer, nothing is off limits)! I have shared my home with catsand will even play with cats! I have not been introduced (other than thru my kennel;) to myForster Mom’s dog as he is a special needs dog with delicate hips. Although I display “normal”fencing behavior in my kennel, it appears that I will be ok with another dog given slow, properintroduction. The best fit would be a dog that can keep up with my high-energy personality!That said, I CANNOT be crated. I am strong and have destroyed a large crate from the insideout. I do well in a large welded wire kennel (minimum size 6 x 8 x 4, pictured). My Foster Momkeeps me safe in a 10 x 8 x 6 kennel which I cannot topple and am safe in when she is away.As my prior home offered me limited opportunity to meet new people, I am wary of strangersand need slow, proper introductions. Once I know you, you are my friend! I bond easily withmy “person” and will guard that person and my home. An experienced owner is preferred.
