Age: 10 Months Weight: 28lbs Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? No Good with kids? No Energy Level: High Adoption Fee: $350.00 Any other info: Meet Coraline: Your Diamond in the Ruff 10-month-old Terrier Mix | ~30 lbs | Looks like a Mini Malinois Coraline is a brilliant little soul wrapped in a sleek, brindle shepherd-esque package. At just under 30 pounds, she’s the perfect pocket sized powerhouse—think Malinois vibes with a terrier twist. But don’t let her striking looks fool you: Coraline’s heart is tender, and she’s still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes feels. *Smart as a Whip* This girl is clever. She’s already figured out how to open doors (yes, really!) and thrives on mental stimulation. Coraline needs a family experienced with high drive, sensitive dogs, someone who understands that intelligence comes with quirks and that confidence is built, not expected. *Sensitive + Sweet* New places and unfamiliar faces can be overwhelming for Coraline, but with a calm, confident leader by her side, she blossoms. She’s incredibly loyal and affectionate once she knows she’s safe, forming deep bonds with her people. She may benefit from a friendly, well adjusted canine sibling to show her the ropes but she’s not a match for homes with young children. *What Coraline Needs: • A patient, experienced home that understands anxious, working type dogs • No young children • A secure environment (she’s a door-opener!) • A strong, gentle leader to guide her • Bonus: a confident dog buddy to model joy and security Coraline isn’t for everyone but she will be everything to the right someone. She's incredibly affectionate and loyal and can't wait to be someone's very best friend. She is only 10 months old and has already been through so much but she has so much potential. Coraline is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. She’s waiting for a person who sees past the nerves and into the heart of a dog who just needs a chance. Could that be you? https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with Coraline. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us. All adoption fees can be found on our website. The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application which can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. You can also complete an application in person at Serenity Animal Hospital. Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed to our adoptions team at adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net. Story
Hi! This sweet pup name is Rhyot. He is a Belgian Malinois mixed with husky. He is 9 months old. I got him from my aunt who lives in California. He is a pup from her dogs litter and needed to find a home for him. So, I flew down to get him to help her, since she could not find anyone to take him. We have had him since March. But, its more than what we can handle at the moment, so we want to find him a nice family that can give him all he needs. He has a lot of puppy energy, loves playing outdoors and walks. He is potty trained. He is up to date on all vaccines. He is not yet neutered. We are leaving him being neutered an open option if potential new owners would like him to be neutered or not to be neutered. We can discuss this if interested.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Bisquit is a 16-month-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with brains, drive, and potential. She’s smart, loyal, and full of energy—but she needs structure, leadership, and an experienced handler. Bisquit is housetrained, food-motivated, and thrives on routine. She’s affectionate with her person but can be reactive to new people or environments. Her reactivity is fear-based and improves with consistent training. She may be a good fit with another balanced dog, but no cats or small children. A securely fenced yard is needed. Bisquit needs daily mental and physical engagement—she’s not a couch companion. She is not yet spayed or fully vaccinated, so her adopter must be prepared to complete that within 30 days. Ideal for someone with experience in high-drive breeds like Mals or GSDs. In the right hands, Bisquit will be a devoted, capable, and rewarding companion.

--FOSTER PUPDATE--Sylvester A18103435 lbs. spayed female, approx 6-8 monthsThis adorable girl is going by Peach in her foster home! - She is all puppy, and super sweet! Energy level is medium to high. Her family should be ready to provide regular exercise so she can be the best girl she can be! - Gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home. From the crabby senior to the high energy younger dogs, she enjoys her companions equally. Slow and proper intros are always recommended. - Very smart girl, and has already picked up potty training. About 99% trustworthy, and has learned to ring a bell to go out. With a little consistency, she'll be fully trained in no time. - Crate trained and does great while her foster mom is at work. Keeps it tidy, and will sometimes snooze in there at night when she wants some quiet. - Great self entertainer, and she will happily grab a toy to chew on when you're busy. - Can be a bit timid when first meeting someone, but she warms up very quickly. She can easily be bought with snacks, and after a few minutes she settles in nicely for snuggles. - New family must love puppy kisses because once she's comfortable, she will shower you in them. - Super affectionate, and is determined to be a lap dog. - Some typical puppy behaviors, and will need some finishing touches to her training. She's a shoe hoarder, and can be a tad mouthy, but is very easily redirected with a toy or snack. This pet is in a foster home! We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application completely. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.
