You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Poppy is a 9 week old Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix, we think?  She currently weighs 11 pounds.   We got her from the animal shelter when she wasn't adopted.  Poppy is the sweetest dog with such a great personality.  She will grow to be around 60+ pounds.   We have spent a lot of time trying to figure out her breed since we have no idea who her parents were.  She has the pointed ears like a shepherd, she is brindle in color which means she could be dutch shepherd??  Her legs aren't too long so she could have some Corgi in her, but either way she is going to be a medium sized dog.   It is so easy to fall in love with Poppy, she will make someone's  family the best companion ever!!!!   If you would like to meet Poppy please fill out an application from our website.  Fenced yard is required for playtime.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 8, 2024, 8:35 am

Meet Oliver! Oliver will be your new best friend. He is house-trained and crate-trained without any issues. He takes a day to warm up but his personality will start coming out within a day and he just wants all the attention you can give him. He does like playing with toys and can fetch somewhat. He walks well on a leash and loves to cuddle, he will do whatever he can to be as close to you as he can. He does seem dog selective so an introduction would be necessary. He would make a great addition to anyone's family."Oliver is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois who recently came to HSEC with a group of Malinois from California. Oliver has tested positive for heartworms. HSEC gives heartworm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics and steroids. They then receive monthly heartworm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heartworm-positive dog.

For many months, Chichi is searching for her person after her previous owner passed away. At about 5 yrs old, Chichi's playful spirit shines through whenever she's given a toy, or bouncing around with her bone. She is energetic and loves to play with her human friends for extended periods. And after all that fun, she'll reward you with a belly rub! She rides fantastically in the car, walks well on the leash, and is incredibly smart. She also loves the water!  Chichi would love to be a single dog in a home that is experienced with her breed (malinois), or an experienced dog owner that can handle her intensity and drive. She also would like a home with no small children or pets.
