Story
Hello, my name is: AspenDOB: 04/22/25Sex/Breed: Spayed female Great PyreneesWeight: 65 lbs.Rescued from: Owner surrenderMeet Aspen, a beautiful Great Pyrenees puppy with the fluffiest white coat. Aspen and her brother, Denali, were given as a well-intentioned gift, but when their owner wasn’t prepared for puppies, they found themselves living outside. Thankfully, they were given another chance and ended up in rescue, and Aspen has blossomed in her foster home. She is a gentle, thoughtful girl who’s learning the joys of indoor life. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, enjoys a good routine, and loves the comfort of the couch. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things, but she’s gaining confidence every day with the help of her foster family.Aspen adores other dogs and is getting along beautifully with her canine foster siblings. She is also cat-friendly and does well with respectful children. A fenced yard where she can explore safely would make her very happy.Once she knows she’s safe, Aspen’s affectionate nature shines through — she’s loyal, gentle, and oh-so-sweet! With love and patience, she’ll reward her family with endless devotion. Aspen will make a wonderful, loving companion for a family ready to help her continue to grow and thrive… could that be yours??All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Meet Paisley! Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix Estimated DOB: 01/12/2022 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 68 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Paisley: Rescued from a shelter in Mississippi with her 7 puppies Breed or similar breed experience required to adopt Like a Pyr, Paisley is often aloof & independent but getting more affectionate off crate rest Can be timid upon first meeting  Takes about 2 days to warm up in new environments but settles in beautifully Very sweet and loving personality with a constant smile Calm temperament and easy-going nature, but can be mischievous around food Very easy to care for, doesn't ask for much Does great on a leash and enjoys walking around the neighborhood - especially confident when with other dogs Gets nervous around bikes and other things with wheels (not cars) Enjoys napping on the couch with her people but prefers cooler floors Will give you the classic "Pyr paw" when she wants pets May cuddle for a few minutes but values her independence Sometimes comes when called - typical Pyr selective listening! Loves to be outside, especially in cooler temperatures or will curl up in the shade Loves adventures and outings - perfect hiking companion Needs patience with grooming (baths and nail trims) but stays gentle Housebroken Dog friendly and great with puppies Loves to play with other dogs of all sizes - from tiny Chihuahuas to big dogs Very happy and playful with her canine friends Cat friendly Looking for loving and committed forever homes to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering? Story
Meet Bashful: Bashful is a 1.5 year old (as of September 2025) Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog mix that weighs about 65 pounds. This litter (Snow, Bashful, Happy) was born in rescue about 1 week after their mama (Jesse) was found as a stray and rescued. The family stayed together with their foster while the rescue they were attached to looked for homes, however that rescue stopped operating and the foster still had the dogs. Our rescue stepped in and are trying to find these sweethearts great homes. Bashful is currently being fostered in the Birdsboro, PA area with Charlie’s Crusaders and would love to meet his forever family! Bashful lives up to his name, he needs time to warm up to new people. We feel he will make a wonderful companion for a family that has the patience to work with his shyness. Bashful is learning what it is like to be part of a family by watching the other dogs in the home. He is doing great with the dogs, both large and small, in his foster home and the cat.  Bashful is working on leash training. He is crate trained and house trained. We would love for Bashful to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. Bashful is microchipped, up to date on his shots and neutered. Bashful is ready for his forever family. If you are interested in adding this handsome guy into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Foster Home in Birdsboro, PA 19508 Kennel License #17584 ##2529104##

Story
Leo is a wonderful 6 year old Great Pyrenees who I adopted from a local SPCA in Delaware. He spent the first 3-4 years of his life with me in Philadelphia and since then we’ve spent the last two years outside of Seattle, WA (larger home with yard, space, etc.) having recently moved back to our old neighborhood in Philadelphia in June of this year. Since moving back Leo has had a really hard time readjusting to city life again and we've had a mixture of ups and downs with a few aggressive outbursts involving family members (lots of barking and a couple of bites). With my partner and I thinking about our future and starting a family, we are having to make the difficult decision to rehome him to an environment better suited to his needs and breed. He is a wonderful boy with a sweet tempermant and would make a great addition to a home with space and room to roam. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thanks!
