Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m an adorable 7-year-old female Bichon Frise. I weigh about 8 lbs and am thrilled to be looking for my forever home! I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility, where I lived in harsh conditions. Despite my rough start, I’m sweet, loving, and ready to give my new family all my affection. I am blind in one eye and limited vision in the other eye. I’m looking for a family who can offer me plenty of love and care, and I’d thrive in a home where I can get the attention and warmth I deserve. My adoption fee is $1,495 and includes: Spay/neuter DA2PP vaccinations Rabies and Bordetella shots Deworming Heartworm test Microchip Boarding fees Health certificate Airline transport costs A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected. Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten. I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me. I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend. I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs. Meet El Santo, the tiny king of the house with a huge personality! This high-energy pup is always on the go—he rarely naps and never seems to run out of steam. He’s super vocal, curious, and confident, with a hilarious habit of collecting shoes and clothes to decorate his bed each morning. El Santo absolutely loves people and is equally happy cuddling or strutting around independently. He’s not scared of anything and will eagerly chase after any other pets in the home, so slow introductions are a must. While he’s still working on potty training and has some typical puppy mouthing, he’s incredibly food motivated and eager to learn. With a little time and consistency, this bold little character will make an entertaining and loving companion. ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
