Story

In many ways, Reggee is a cat in a dogs body. Shes an incredible leaper who likes high places, she will curl up and nap on your lap for hours, and she loves the comfort of home and her humans. Reggee has plenty of dog in her too. She is eager to play with other pups, enjoys running at the dog park, and loves a good chew toy. Reggee is a one-year-old black mouth cur/boxer mix (we think) looking for a quieter home away from the hustle and bustle of the city. She is an excellent coworker who is content spending much of the day swapping naps at your feet with naps on her bed. Reggee has been professionally trained and knows touch, sit, lie down, stay, and come. She is house trained, crate trained, and comfortable with boarding. Reggee is currently on an SSRI and comes with a large supply of medication. This may be unnecessary in the country or suburbs. Reggee could thrive with another dog, but we only recommend a multi-dog household with an experienced owner.

Roo is a stray found in Raymond, Mississippi when she was about 4 months old. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and softest coat ever! She is golden brown in color with the long legs and ears of a hound. Roo is dog, people, and children friendly. She loves to play and is super sweet. Roo loves to run and play. She needs plenty of room to play, as she is a high energy dog; however, once she plays and expends her energy, she does settle down nicely. At one time, she was with a foster family who had 3 children and several dogs. She loved the children and dogs and played with them well. Roo is now boarding, and she desperately needs a forever home! Roo is being cared for in Mississippi but we do transport. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Someone dropped these two sweet brothers off and just drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. At 10 pounds and 2 months old! A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course we had to say yes. Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are just as sweet as pie, playful, love play time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should be. These boys will need love and guidance, but we are positive that they are destined to be great dogs! They are current on all shots, have been neutered and microchipped and are ready to join their new families. The pups certainly hit the jackpot, they spend their days romping and playing with their siblings and then snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap. Mackenzie has had her puppy shots, is microchipped and was recently spayed. She is ready for a loving home of her own. McKenzie loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue, she's fine with cats. She rides well in the car and loves everyone she meets. Black mouth curs are known to be wonderful family dogs, they are mellow and medium size, friendly and loving. Like any puppy McKenzie  needs someone who will be around for her and give her the structure and training she needs to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be.
