WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Skipper - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Skipper and I seem to have lost my SS Minnow. So it appears that I'm now indeed searching for a new fur-ever crew where we could take that '3 hour' tour...err, maybe we should make that tour on land. I'm hoping to enjoy many many tours with my new crew!! I'm around 11 months old, so still just a youngster. Much too young to be a captain. I'm more than ready to leave the captain-ing to you. I'm very friendly and outgoing, always ready to play ball and I do great with...everyone! Kiddos, puppers and even cats! I really love my people and there isn't anything better than being with them. I'm around the 40ish lb range and shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. And let me tell you that's a perfect size. I'm big enough to go on all our '3 hour' tours but still have plenty of space for the both of us on the couch for our beloved cuddle time. Now that does sound about perfect! My beautifully colored sleek shiny coat is low maintenance in the grooming department. That's makes me more of a wash-n-to type of fella. And guess what that means, oh my you're right, lots of extra time for my 'spoil me rotten' time, my favoritest, you and me time!! Oh my, what dreams are made of!! If you are in need of a constant in your life, a BFF that will have your back no matter what, I could be your boy. If you're looking for a pawtner to share your life adventures (everything is an adventure to me), I could be your boy. If you're in need of a slightly clingy, very snuggly skipper to never be too far away ready for any and all your '3 hour' tours, I could be your boy!!! Please fill out my adoption application today to see if I could indeed be your boy!

Story
Chopper is an estimated 6-year-old 65 lb spayed female mixed breed (likely bully/cur/lab) whose favorite pass times include cuddling with her humans and short romps in the yard. She is on the mellow side of the spectrum, and has relatively low exercise needs. Chopper would prefer a fenced yard to romp in versus daily walks or hikes, as she is anxious on leash. She is social and friendly meeting new people and comfortable with handling all over her body. She'd do best with older children and should not live with cats. She knows basic obedience, is house trained, and does not have separation anxiety -- she is not destructive when left out in the house!  She's a mellow, sweet, affectionate, loving dog who deserves to be a part of a family.  Ideal Family: Single family home with securely fenced yard, balanced resident dog with slow introductions or as only dog in the home. No cats or small kids.  Adoption Info: Chopper is spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, heartworm negative and has a recent visit with a veterinarian. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Chopper (fka Daisy Duke) was rescued from a high kill TX shelter by Three Little Pitties All Breed Rescue and transferred to Seattle in Nov 2019. She was adopted in 2019 and returned to the rescue in 2024 after more than 4 years due to a new baby in the home. She is currently being fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption.April 18, 2024, 11:54 pm

Story
Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She has a lot of love to give to someone who can give her a chance. Her trainer from Swift K9 is happy to chat with anyone interested in adopting her, and will come to your home for a free acclimation session if you're local!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Runner! This sweet girl got her name from following her finder home on a run! She probably knew she’d found someone who would help her. She’s a little nervous, but it’s only her first day at the rescue. Her finder had her for a month and fully house trained her, and she knows her manners. Runner is about 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She looks like a Black Mouth Cur mix, but she has a fluffy tail and some interesting coloring on her legs. She walks well on a leash, and is learning that the world is a fun place to explore when you have a safe, warm home and regular food every day! She’s good with other dogs and people, and would love to keep building her confidence. We’ll update as we learn more about her!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Mr. Banks was found in an elementary school field being chased by kids - now don't feel bad for him, he LOVED it. He is a HUGE fan of kids and was so happy to be running around with them - a home with kids would be great for him. Mr. Banks is a 2 year old Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix, around 50lbs. He is a very sweet boy who is house trained and crate trained. He gets along great with other dogs and loves being active with his family. He does need a secure yard or watched outside as he loves to jump and play and if he has no one with him.... well he may try to find someone to play with. He is very smart and walks lovely on leash too. Don't let this one slip away! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
